WOW we are on a roll with this balance idea! lol

I have had a lot of things pulling at me lately and it's beginning to take it's toll. Today I will be mindful not to let to do lists get the best of me mentally.

Oh my goodness, Wanda, this is pretty much the same goal I have - I was going to be mindful of balance - I have a great deal to do, and I have to manage my time carefully, but I also want to have time to make connections, have time on my teams, etc.

What are you being mindful of today? Is there an area that gives you a bit of a challenge that you want to be stronger in? Make today that day that you keep your focus on being stronger.

Today I will be mindful of: I will be mindful of pacing myself and not attempting to do too much or too little. I will create an atmosphere of positive energy around myself.

I think for some (USA) today is still a holiday. Often on weekends we tend to be a little less observant of what we eat and how we move out bodies.

Take the time today regardless of whether it is a holiday or not and be mindful of what you are doing. Enjoy the day, but make sure that you are enjoying it in a healthy manner.

Today I will be mindful of: drinking more water and less of other things. (and no I don't drink alcohol *grin*)

I'm being extra mindful of what my body is telling me this week. I've never been on any regular medication before, I've started taking one daily to manage pain, just until I can get a surgery I need next year. I'm watching closely for side effects.

April 15 Mindful Monday

Your challenge today is to be "mindful". Be aware of that "small" taste that you have as you are cooking in the kitchen or wandering around the store that offers all the taste samples of things. We often forget to add those calories into our daily intake. Be aware also of the sips of things that you try out and don't account for. Be aware of golden opportunities to get some movement happening in your day. You might be sitting on the couch watching the news, but it's also a great opportunity to do some upper body exercises. Get those soup cans out or the weights and put them to use!

Have a mindful day and take advantage of the opportunities to be healthy.

Thanks for the challenge.

I spoke to my financial adviser from our old home town. I asked her how she was. At first she just said okay and went on to something else. She didn't sound well, so I asked her again. She needed someone to tell her troubles to. I hope I was helpful. I think I was kind.

I have one of those days, I was put on new medication and I just was not feeling right so I went to my doc and she told me it will take a couple of day It make me feel real fuzzy off balance. So mindful Monday is not going to be this Monday.
Take care of yourself's and have a good week.

We have a choice on how we live and mine is to think positive
Yesterday is past , tomorrow hasn't arrived yet.
I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

I have to get to this goal by July 1

Okay, the weekend is over and it's back to being mindful of our actions, interactions, reactions and our bodies. (including our spiritual bodies)

What did you let slide over the weekend that you need to be mindful of today? Commit even for just today to being mindful of all that you do and say.


I need to be mindful once more of getting my water intake. I also need to be mindful that although I know the new program I am introducing to my selectors, they don't.

It is 6:30pm and I am just now reading today's challenge.
In all honesty, I have not been mindful of my eating since Sat. So this is something that I can start right now.

What I have been mindful of tho, is my time. I have things that I need to accomplish and have been working towards getting it done. I have been very careful of my internet usage as it eats up alot of my time if I am not careful.

I have left over sweets from Sat. and will be taking them over to oldest DD's today when she gets home from work, her DH and kids can have them and today is her and DH's anniversary. I need to detoxic from the sugary stuff this week starting today. So that's what I'll be mindful of today, stay away from the sweets and eat sensible. Great challenge, thanks Wanda.

OK the weekend is over and Monday has arrived. Choose to be mindful today. Just take one area in your life and determine that today you will be mindful in that area.
Perhaps it is with drinking your water, maybe staying away from the candy bowl, maybe it is how you are moving your body, getting enough sleep/rest, perhaps it is in your thinking positive. Whatever it is...choose to be mindful for the next 24 hours.

Well it's been a busy day, helped at the dinner and was pretty mindful of what I ate today. Had my orientation at SNAPS, so will be working out a couple days this week.

Good point! I am reading this as I eat my lunch at school. That is not very mindful! I will try to focus on my eating the rest of the day (not with distractions of TV or computer)!!!
