Well, my 30 minutes at the grocery store turned into 45, because of all the holiday shoppers! I just spent 30 minutes climbing up and down the attic ladder, bringing down Christmas ornaments and some of my kids' books for my grandson. I also listened to my current audiobook while I made and ate supper!

Use 30 minutes to chat with someone you love.

What will you do?



I have a dental cleaning right after work today, so will spend that time in quiet contemplation...Yeah, I know "A dentist chair!", but considering how I dislike going to the Dentist, I do find that focusing on quiet meditation helps.
I will also aim for an additional 30 steps in my day and just maybe have a chance to chat with my SIL this evening.

I got my 30 minutes in...it took me almost 3 hours to do, but then I can't walk for too long and that is what I get doing to keep my knee mobile. Even got two sets of stairs in at work.

Well... I'm up to 27 so far - have done chair cardio for 11 minutes and 16 minutes of strength training/knee therapy. Am planning to do the seated core workout for 12 more minutes, so that should put me up to where I should be!

Your challenge today is to do 30 minutes of exercise. Walking, running, leg lifts, strength training...doesn't matter, just get 30 minutes into your day. Even 5 minutes out of every hour if exercise is difficult for you.

Use 30 minutes today to move you forward in your goals for 2012.

I will take 30 min. or more to sit and look over recipes to try and choose some meals to make that will be healthier for us and keep us away from fast food, have cut back on it, but could do better, it's the draw of the convenience, so will be looking for recipes that are easy, and not too time consuming, but nutritious and healthy.

Great challenge Mauri. Will be thinking of you and your busy work schedule this month. Glad you got some quality time with John.

Okay, this might not be exactly 30, but I did do 28 steps 6 times today at work, plus I worked
60 minutes overtime *grin*

It's thirty Thursday, try and work in 30 of something, 30 min. or 10 repitations of an exercise 3 x's.


If you can't do 30 at one time break it down to two of 15 at different times, and it can be 30 of any exercises(s) of your choice

30 squats
30 lunges
30 crunches
30 min. walking
30 min. stationary bike


Now you've got the picture,let's see how many 30's we can get in, you choose your own and we'll see where we're at, at the end of the day. One thirty is better than none.

I did mange to get in 30 min.on my stationary bike after supper.

I'll BBL. Well I spent at least 30 min. cleaning the bathroom. My afternoon diidn't quite go like I had thought it would, ended up going to Wal-Mart for some things I forgot to get yesterday, so got some walking in there, came home and fixed chili for DH's supper tonight as I am going with the ladies from church. Hope you got some kind of 30 in today. Nancy Jane thanks for joining in with today's challenge.

Ok, I reallly need this today after I blew it big time at lunch yesterday with Joyce. I'll report my 30's later today. In case you are wondering what lunch consisted of it was a whopper, fries, diet coke and to top it all off a chocolate fudge sundea, yes, I was a very bad girl yesterday, now you know why I really, really needed this today, lol I am just being honest.

Ok, before lunch I got in 30 min. of stationary bike,and 30 sqauts, after lunch 30 close-arm wall pushups, 10 shoulder shrugs, 10 forward shoulder circles and10 backward shoulder circles.

Okay...I'm in.

I've done my flight of stairs at home (8 steps, counting up and down as 1) 30 times, plus the stairs at work that number 24 once.

Yay me!

How about a 30 minute cardio video? Will that do? :-)
I've also walked about 4 miles on top of that, so that's it for my thirties today. I'm all oomphed out.

We've been gone most of the day, but after getting back have done

30 close-arm wall push ups
30 squats
and am hopeing to get 30 min. in on stationary bike before bedtime.
