If you are thinking about sending a "thinking of you," "thank you," or some such email or e-card, take a moment and write out a note or card, sending it by regular mail. I don't know about you, but it is always such a pleasure to receive my mail and find a note or card, even a postcard, in amidst what is normally just a pile of bills and junk mail.
