Had some calls I needed to make this morning and they are done. Have date bread baking in the oven for coffee hour tomorrow. Need to make a trip to store for some bottled water and tonight is the free concert, going to be a busy day, but that's ok with me.

This is my weekend project...but seeing as today is my Friday, I can start it tomorrow. I will go through all the keepsakes and pictures and dig out the items that we want to take with us to the reunion in August.

Today I will take the time and contact someone that I have been neglectful in calling.

I have paperwork that I really need to get filled out today so can mail tomorrow and didn't get to the store yesterday so will do that also today.

Ok when this one posted I see the other one I had tried to do this morning also posted, but not when I was on here, so now there are two, so disregard the one below this one, lol. Thanks to Teri I was able to do the cut and paste.

I have some paper work I need to get filled out today and need to make a trip to the grocery store as didn't get there yesterday. Also need to try and figure out how to copy and paste with this new program, I am use to a toolbar being up at the top of the page and it's not there with this new program, so will hopefully be learning something today. That's why I had to just do an edit in order to post this challenge today.

For me, it is cleaning out the area behind my driver's seat of my car. I tend to throw expired notices from work back there when returning from an event. Today I will actually take them and walk them to the recycle bin behind the garage.

What one thing has been on your to-do list that you really WANT done but just haven't gotten to it? Today is the day to do it.


For me, I am filling two bags of books to donate. I had been doing so well with taking a bag a day out of my apartment and lost my momentum as the Hope Bus season progressed. When John cleaned out his books, he brought so many here. I am overrun by my own and that just added to it. My plan is to keep only those books that are special because they are gifts or that I reread them. Off to fill bags!

This is a variant of a traditional "to-do" list:

1. Smile at the people whose paths cross yours.

2. Create a complaint free zone where you are - if someone complains, particularly about another person, say something kind or complimentary instead.

3. Take time for two deep breathing sessions today.

On the Hope Bus on Monday, a woman teaching a class on angels told us to use the 4-7-8 deep breathing method:

As you inhale, inhale to the count of 4.
Hold your breath for the count of 7.
Exhale to the count of 8.

I got a load of laundry done when I got home from work, one less to do this weekend.
I pushed myself to get over 12,000 steps in yesterday (just because)
I tackled some problems at work yesterday and now they are cleared off my desk.

Things I've been meaning to do...and finally did!

Packed up clothes and scheduled the Vietnam Vets to pick them up next week. All clothes 2 or more sizes too small. I hope to get back to those sizes but will be able to start fresh.

Pulled out the Wii and did the Active 2 personal trainer. It's been months since I last did it, so started fresh and will build back up to where I was.

Redid my Spark page and my Spark name and posted a Vlog.

1. Thank Shirl for covering for me with daily challenges. dONE
2. Organize my desk/office at work. DONE
3. Tonight charge my iPad and iTouch and update apps on them.DONE
4. Create a to-do list for John for Saturday to help because of my arm (and that I'm working)DONE
5. Catch up with reading my local weekly newspaper (have 5 issues to cover)

This one started out as a list of accomplishments that we wanted to have for today.

So. . .

Here's my list of FIVE items to accomplish today.

1. Clean bathroom (done)
2. clean kitchen (done)
3. get all floors swept (half done)
4. get some dusting done (not started yet)
5. read some more of the book Heaven Is Real (will this evening)

I had some other things come up that needed taking care of so did that and got a good start on all the other stuff, dusting may wait till Sat. But hey it's all good and has been a pretty productive day. Mauri glad to help out a friend.

Have a great Thursday and see what you can accomplish.

Thanks, Shirl. You're right...Gotta keep typing to a minimum...Seeing orthopedic surgeon for re-eval today...hoping he agrees to PT.

My list:
1. Get banking done for me and Cancer Council
2. Finalize arrangements for Art Therapy day
3. Reorganize work emails by programs/sites
4. Be optimistic in a pessimistic way
5. SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nancy, not a problem!! I have not been able to get to SP or to my personal email because this week has seen two 15 hour workdays and two 11 hour days...with tomorrow and Sunday to go! I'm exhausted so thank you for jumping in!

1. SLEEP tonight!
2. Enter April's activities on my new job's website.
3. Not fall asleep during Hospice training tonight...no, I mean this one seriously.
4. Be sure to eat something healthy this evening.
5. Drink more water before I go to sleep.

Ok, this is a good one, I am working on sorting and going through stuff to put in a box for our 3 day basement sale at church coming up in May.

I plan on making us a healthy supper.

Not to over do and make my knee hurt.

Stay within calorie ranage.

Good Morning.

I'm not trying to take over here, Mauri! Honestly! I just need to make my goal of replying to three of the daily challenges this week. So I'm pulling up a challenge so I can check it off!

Going to pick up the kid's scripts after work today. Getting lots done at work, as usual. Am researching summer camping plans in between things, and had a talk with my boss about the future of my job... yeah I'm getting a lot done today and it's only noon.

For me, it's work-related. I have 4 people who are interested in our Mobile Resource and Wellness Unit...and I need to contact them...so today is the day...I hope.

I need to work on noticing kindness. My kids aren't in the kindest of moods this week what with school break, Mardi Gras and Valentine celebrations and now it's Lent. Darn, is what they say. I say "Yeah!! emoticon a legitimate reason to say "no" to coke and candy.
