Well, I didn't know yesterday was Target Tuesday, but I did set a goal in the morning - to get to the local market and order the veggies I need to prepare for our office Thanksgiving lunch and to cook for home for "leftovers" since we eat at a restaurant. I actually did NOT talk myself out of stopping...so...

Your challenge today is to set a target goal for yourself and then determining to be successful at accomplishing it. Maybe it's getting a start on your Christmas list, cleaning a bathroom, getting some extra steps in, making that phone call you have been meaning to do. Whatever it is make today the day that you get it done!

To get some much needed dusting done, I have herds of dust bunnies all over the apartment, lol, that need corralling.

My goal: I will stop after work today and do some grocery shopping for the girls so they have some groceries when they arrive home. I will also ensure that I get at minimum 11000 steps in today.

I WILL get 100 fitness minutes in today, spread out throughout the day, not one session.

9:48 I finished a walk...39 minutes; 61 minutes to go.
1:55 I got 49 minutes on the stationary bike; 12 minutes to go.

What is your target for today and were you successful in accomplishing it?

My target for today will be to get my 8 glasses of water in and hopefully a couple more seeing it's going to be so hot & humid. Will report back later.

Wanda that's a good one for you, not suppose to skip meals :)

Mauri good luck with leaving the cake alone, that'd be a hard one for me especially if I had to be around it all day. Sending you some strong willpower.

My target today is to eat healthy meals. I was off course yesterday, and when I got home at 10:40 last night, just ate dinner with no thought before. My mom would say that I "just shoveled it in." She would be right. At midnight, I realized what I had eaten.

Today - some QUIET and awareness as I plan meals, especially since it is another late night.

UPDATE:
1. Had a raisin bran muffin with coffee for b-fast
2. Having veggie quiche for lunch.
3. Dinner???

To help those of us that are working hard at getting back on track, it's time to set a target (goal) for today and then do what needs to be done to achieve it.

What is your target today? How are you going to ensure that you achieve it?


My Target: to get 90 ounces of water into me.

How: I have pre-measured my drinking cup and my to go mug. I know exactly how much they hold and I will keep a running tally with me so I can record as I drink.

Well this did not happen, by the time DD left it was time to start lunch as had to have it a little earlier today due to doctor appointment and am having trouble with my right side today, so sad to say it didn't happen. Well there is always another day and if not what does it matter, right. What's that saying about best laid plans or something like that. lol.

Don’t complain for an entire day (Hard)

This one will likely take more than a few days to work up to achieving. Even if you’re a highly positive person, it’s difficult not to utter one negative sentence for a 24-hour span. Don’t be down on yourself if you can’t make it past an hour — as with everything this takes practice! This one is also great practice for becoming conscious of your thoughts.

Wow got dh back from eye doctor has had cataracts taken off of both eyes in 3 weeks and he can drive without glasses ! He don't go back till Jan 3rd and i go back January 29th ! I have to dilate and put steroids in my eyes 3 times aday till then. I go to R.A. doctor tomarrow ! Pray they can do something to keep the arturituse out of my eyes ! emoticon

The Lord is my strength and i know i can do better with the Lords help. The Lord laid it on my heart to start a team called GOD ANSWERS PRAYER AND I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE ANYBODY THAT WANTS HELP TO LOSE THEIR WEIGHT TO JOIN . I KNOW I CAN'T DO THIS WITHOUT THE LORDS HELP !

My goal WAS to get moving on my research project that's due on Friday. I had budgeted time after my eye appointment and before work to read my research and start my framework, but I forgot that the eye appointment usually involves dilating my pupils. emoticon Which pretty well killed my chances for working on it today. Today is Tuesday , my TOPS weigh-in day.
My goal is to be in range. I should be as right now I'm one lb. less than I was last week.
Today will be a long day but I will look forward to a great meeting.

Your challenge today is to set up a target (goal) for the day and then just go for it.

To get in some exercise, which I did, 90 min. exercise tape.

My target: No sugar in my diet today or at least no sugar that is not naturally found in fruit. So I guess to be more accurate...nothing with added sugar!
