switch half of your carbs to veggies.
There is a lot of low carb veggies
lettuce, celery, cucumber, peppers, asparagus, cabbage, mushrooms, Brussel sprouts, onions this a is a small list compared to what is out there.
for fruit low sugar fruits are good
tart apples like granny smith, grapefruit are my two favorite but i also will have raspberries , strawberries mangoes in my smoothies
