I am losing track of where I have posted, and what day I am on! Do you want to just track in the challenge forum (to hopefully encourage more people to join in)?

Did you weigh in yet? Hopefully it was good news! Hope you are enjoying being back home, and have fun with your grandson - that sounds like a fun time!

I had to take one of my kitties to the vet yesterday, and found out that his teeth are falling out! He has severe gingivitis :( He is on antibiotics, and will have a full mouth cleaning next week under full anesthesia. Poor Godzilla! I hope the cleaning will prevent any more teeth from coming out. I feel so bad for him, he is the sweetest kitty in the world.

YAYAYAY for Friday!!!!!!

11/4 - 50 minutes Walk

Sarah, I just don't know how you do it all! You are a fantastic person, my goodness. How do you do it?

As far as the few extra pounds, welcome to my world, I have got to pull myself out of this deficit of weight loss. I have gained. Gulp! Tomorrow I will see just how much!

We are home, we left Reno this morning at 4:30 a.m. and made it to the post office here, (Port Orchard, WA) to pick up the mail at 4:30 p.m.. I am beat tonight.

We got home as quickly as possible to go to our grandson's McTakeover, tonight at 6:00 p.m.. His sixth grade is trying to earn money toward their sixth grade camp. They had a Ronald McDonald dressed and in full make up for the kids, it was fun for them.

You will never know how much I enjoyed that last swim in the sun! Awesome!

Hope you got a good work out in tonight.. I was lucky to get my walk in.

I am just so busy at work that by the time I get home, get dinner ready, and take care of my throng of pets, I am pooped! Plus, I have 3 groups of guests coming in the next few weeks, so I am trying to get everything done to prepare for that. But, I got on the scale this morning for the first time in a while, and have gained a few pounds. YUK! I need to get my butt in gear.

Sorry I have been a little MIA the past few days - it has been pretty busy around here. I have not been the best at controlling my food or working out, either. But, as of today, all the halloween candy is gone (thank you, co-workers, for eating it all!!) and I have no more excuses. Back to normal tomorrow!

10/30 Walked 50 minutes.

Didn't get in the pool, although the day was a 'swimming' day! We walked the strip for the first time this trip. The MGM casino was quite good to my husband! I got to play for a long time and came out maybe a couple dollars ahead, that was good for me!

I wish you the very best with your future "family", ever how you decide to complete it. I never questioned having children. We have a total of three, just what I always wanted. (If I may add grandchildren are so fantastic)!

I bet Vegas is fun during Halloween! I am sure there is a lot of stuff going on the whole weekend. Enjoy!

We go way overboard with our animals too. They are all spoiled rotten (2 dogs, 3 cats - this is what happens when 2 animal lovers combine houses). My husband is ready to start with kids in the next year or so, and I am not. I have never really wanted kids, but we will probably have one once I am done with school. I would rather be a doggie mom!! :)

Hope you make it to the pool today! Its cool and dreary here, I envy your weather there!

Oh Freemont street's light show is all about Halloween, it is great. Won a bit last night and again today, not enough to cover what we have lost, but it helps cover our fun..l

I hope you post your puppy's halloween pictures. I would love to see them.. Before I retired my work was dog friendly and we had so many dogs come to work daily, those that couldn't get doggie day care. There were always costumes, for the holidays and even birthday parties given at the near by soccer field at lunch time. I love dogs, we don't have one now because we are gone so much of the time. But I think some of my co-workers went way over board!!!

Do you plan a family?? Or are your puppies going to be your only babies?? Or have you thought about it yet?? We were married six years before we were ready to share our lives with anyone other than out Oops! (Cocker mix).

Can't wait to swim again. The weather was pretty nice today, we just didn't make it to the pool.. Hope you got your run and walk in...

Sounds like a good Halloween! I think we are staying home for trick or treaters. I don't know how many we will have (I just bought this house a few months ago) but I think quite a few. I live in a cul-de-sac, and there are lots of kids in our neighborhood. I always dress my dogs up in costumes, too. Esther, my lab, is going to be Raggedy Ann, and Soba, my weimaraner, is going to be a doctor :) There might be a party with people from work that night, but I am not sure yet.

No exercise yet today, other than walking on campus at work. Tonight WILL be running though! Not sure on the amounts, but I am going to aim for...

I don't know how you are doing it! What a tough schedule you must have right now. I hope you get all settled into the new job soon (I still envy you).

Las Vegas had some strong winds today, it really made our walk interesting, and fun, we just had to laugh and laugh. Didn't swim today. Sniff! Sniff!

I think we will be staying at Sam's Town on Halloween night. We will just get in on what ever special celebrating they do there, if any. How about you two? Any parties to go to? Hope you have a wonderful time.. Do you have many trick-0r-treaters?

Today was a busy, busy day. I had 6 hours of orientation at my new job, then running around like a crazy lady to catch up on what I missed while I was at orientation!! I do like the new job, and the monkeys are SO much fun. There is so much to learn, though, so it is a little overwhelming.

Ooh, enjoy the workout room and all the pools! That sounds lovely!

I had a great hike today (pics in my blog if you are interested). It really helped remind me of how much I love to work out. It felt so good, working up a sweat and having shaky tired legs. Hopefully I wont be so lazy and unmotivated now!

Good girl! You committing to your run and walking before you do it is a good thing. If I hadn't committed myself to the walking 7 times a week for at least two miles, here on SparkPeople, I know I would fall way behind, and maybe walk twice or maybe three times a week. But I fatefully do it now!

I think I will disagree with you on 'if you ever get too old for a bikini'.. Although some people here certainly agree with you it seems.. Tee Hee.. But I still need to get rid of another fifteen pounds, I need it all to come off my waist and gut it seems, so sad!!

I hope to get back in the pool later today, so I may be adding to this, Max just had to print out a map, so I took advantage of this time to check in.

Ah, you are never too old for a bikini :)

I AM running tonight, but I wont be able to post it later. So, I am going to say now:

30 min running, 15 min walking

Now I cant back out, for sure! I can turn down pecan pie without much of a fight, but if it were something with peanut butter and chocolate, my willpower would be gone. Thats my weakness :)

We are in Las Vegas, got here about 5:00 p.m. We are staying at the Orleans for two nights, then checking in to our condo (here in Vegas) for a week. Saturday thru Saturday.

HOW, JUST HOW did you turn down pecan pie??? You crazy girl!! I am very proud of you!! WOW! That had to be a killer!! Good going!!

THANK YOU for the bikini, I am very proud of it! I really won't be wearing one ever again, I'm too old, but THANK YOU so much!

Enjoy your run tomorrow! Today was a wonderful day for helping you stay on track and to reach your goal. Good going!

90 minutes swimming this a.m. (Part of this was in the outdoor pool. Most in the indoor pool with the waterfall.) We had both pools to ourselves!!

60 minute walk

1 more buffet Oops, again!

We camped at Cushman two weeks in Sept. just while we were there, the leaves started changing and falling all over our camp site. It was beautiful, you are right.

I remember Lake Cushman! I went hiking near there a few times, and learned how to drive a stick for the first time there :) That is such a beautiful area. I bet it is gorgeous right now, with the fall leaves. I miss WA so much!

Oh yes! The Olympic Peninsula. We moved from Tacoma to the Kitsap Peninsula, and have a campground membership up at Lake Cushman, Staircase, do you know it? It is up on the opposite side of the peninsula from the rain forest.

Hope you make it back to WA, if this is where you would like to be. We don't travel all the time, just several times a year.

I enjoy getting exercise, but I also enjoy EATING!! The buffet tonight was GREAT! Oops!

Well, I wish my recent laziness was about a lack of time, but really, its all about laziness :) Im being very honest here!

So do you just travel all the time? I used to live in WA - Tacoma, actually. I loved it there. I used to hike in the mountains every weekend. My favorite places were near Mt. Rainier, Snoqualmie pass, and the huge park on the peninsula (I cant remember the name). My goal is to live in that area again later in life.

It is cold here - I just moved here a few months ago, and I really expected it to be a lot warmer than this!! But, even though it was down to 40 last night, its supposed to be 75 again tomorrow. So, I guess I cant complain.

Enjoy the pool and the Vegas weather!! And keep up the good work! :)

Please don't ever let me embarrass anyone. I am retired!! That makes a world of difference.

I have been walking at least two miles per day for almost a year now. Max (husband)wants me to give myself a couple days lead way so I will be cutting back some. We are on the go a lot and it is sometimes tough. Like Sunday we were walking the streets of Reno at about 11:00 p.m. trying to finish up my two miles. I usually walk around the rest stops when we drive, today I didn't complete my two miles. We haven't even gotten in the pool here at the Atlantis, but we will for the next three days!!!
emoticon Then at the condo in Las Vegas there are three beautiful outdoor pools, yippee! I should get lots of swimming in for the next two and a half weeks.

Washington state is starting to get really fallish.. rainy, and the temps are dropping, thus our escape to the sun. The mid-seventies felt good today, when we hit Northern California. Although our stop here at Reno puts the temps only about five degrees higher that at home. It was 62 degrees at home today with a low of 46 degrees, and cloudy!

North Carolina is getting chilly also, huh? I sure hope our winter isn't like it was last year. We had more snow than we would normally get in many, many years.

2 hours of exercise today. I'm happy! I taught my class which is an hour long of B.C. so thats cardio and then I took a B.P. class which is strength training and thats an hour long.

Yesterday I got in another 40 mins of walking b/c I had to get my daughter from school. So altogether it was 80 mins of brisk walking....4 miles total. Felt good to do that. Today will be about 2 miles for sure....maybe some more exercise, but I don't plan that far ahead.

So far only 35 minutes on a full body work out but I plan on riding my bike for 30 minutes to an hour later.
