I commit to following a financial budget for day-to-day groceries. So far, it is really working. Any thing spent goes on a list - with location, item, cost, and whether it was part of the budget. With less spent, there are fewer choices (other than what has been planned for meals) to cause me calorie troubles. I am aiming for 4 weeks, with a weekly check-in to see how much less has been spent.

This weekend especially I am going to try hard to eat well and drink water. I'm going to my mom's for 3 days and that can make it tough. Thankfully, there are lots of berries and fruit in season right now to snack on.

This week is look after my feet week. I have been doing so much ladder work lately. I've been soaking and making sure I get more rest. My new runners are helping alot for when I am on the treadmill. I think sometimes we forget to get new runners because we are not wearing them outside. Therefore you don't notice how the inside deteriorates.

My training is finally going better.
I've had a terrible cold. Thankfully, I'm feeling better.
I've worked out everyday this week.
Sunday I power walked 10K (tried to run some of it)
Monday I did weights.
Tuesday I ran 7K
Wednesday I did a yoga class
Today I did a weight class.
I feel really good!

In this month of February I will work hard to reach my goal- besides I need to get moving to get out of my winter funk. So:

1. weight training 3 X per week- try a new move each week
2. elliptical 3 X per week, at least 25-30 minutes per session
3. develop some new paleo recipes

A perfect month- 4 weeks, beginning on a Monday. Woohoo!!!

I did get 3 runs in, and walked to school with the kids daily (4 days). BUT I didn't get the skirt done - I did some other sewing... Dancing got in the way - my daughter performed twice this week (in addition to 3 dance classes)


This week I will:
- exercise 5 days
- drink my water
- get work done on dance vest & skirt.

I've done well with my eating and I've logged everything I ate.
Didn't finish the book or study yet. Getting sick throws off plans...

This week:

I walked 10,000+ steps X 6, elliptical X 2 (other day I shoveled snow for 50 min.) and I finished reading "The Wreckage" and "The Extreme Vinyl Cafe".

This week I will:
1. Aim for 10,000+ steps at least X 6
2. Lose one more pound.
3. Buy materials to make Christmas stockings for gifts.

It's easy to set goals but how many of us remain committed to them? Here's your chance to set weekly goals for 2010- each week, starting today, list 2 or 3 Spark goals. Next Sunday report in and then prepare for the following week.
