Eden Prairie, MN (October 20, 2010) – Vikings WR/KR Percy Harvin has earned NFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for his performance against Dallas. The award is Harvin’s second of his career.
Harvin returned the opening kickoff of the second half 95 yards for a touchdown and tied the game at 14-14. Harvin holds the franchise record with three kickoffs returned for touchdowns and did so in only 20 career games.
The 2009 Rookie of the Year is currently leading all Vikings receivers with 20 receptions for 224 yards and 3 TDs.
