Hi all, hope you don't mind me jumping in, I'm so excited and am new to this.
Hubby and I snowshoed yesterday and today we went back and hiked it (no snowshoes) and went further and uphill to beautiful views, probably at least 5 miles, so I'm really amazed at my energy - have been doing cleanse/shakes for 5 days now. Hard work but was awesome.

I try to do the same thing. I am on the 5th floor (well, 6th since we have a basement). I am not up to your level on the stairs though!! Way to go. And you are inspiring me.

P.S. This is a response to RAYADV60's post about doing circuits on the stairs at work. I am still so new to SparkPeople that I don't know exactly where this response will land!

Yesterday, I did my combination yoga/strength training for 45 minutes, then I took my baby to the dog park and since I did not get any exercise there we went for another 30 minute walk around a couple of hills.

Have not done anything today as I woke up with a migraine, but if I can get rid of it then I will take the dog out again.

Work at a computer all day so I get up once an hour and pace the halls or do a circuit of stairs (up/down 4 times) I am on the 4th floor. Just gotta move during these 8 hours.

It was so beautiful out I just threw on my sweater and shoes and booted on out for a quick walk (25 minutes) then I did n't really want to go in so I did some yard work. DH had pruned so I hauled the prunings down the hill to the burn pile and came back for more. emoticon

So Far got up at 4:45 and started Scrubbing the bathroom Cleaned out the Sink Cabinet man there was stuff in there that expired many moons ago. Usually the bending over kills me and I can't sit on the floor to do it, but since doing more workouts in the pool I was finally able to get this done.... No Onto the YMCA for a real workout in the Pool

Today is my dad's bday (rip); tomorrow is ds's bday; it's a gorgeous day, so I'm taking advantage of this good weather, and taking dh for a walk to the Senior Center's Open House.
Did a 10-min pilates hips, glutes, & thighs routine this morning.

This morning I walked 1,6 miles with a friend and 1.4 miles later in the day with a different friend. All in all a good moving day Over 8,000 steps and the day is not over.

A brisk walk to get groceries and a long haul home....always get a little too much and my pack is heavy which I know is great for my pre-osteo condition but gets me huffing!!
Athletic recovery class with lots of great stretches and ouchy rolling on the foam roller and tennis balls in all those sore spots!

Since our Fine Tuning Challenge includes how we moved each day, I forgot that this thread was added after 2014 began. We have no group goal, but instead work on our individual goals. The challenge is for ourselves, supported by the others. I thought you ought to know all this. Every 3 months we section off a new set of shared connection. There is no beginning or end to our commitment to Fine Tune ourselves with each other. Jump in any time you'd like, IF you'd like.
