When I get cravings, two olives give me the fat and sodium (plus fiber) that I need to kill the cravings. And they have very few calories.

I'm going through periodontal surgery, so am on liquids and mushy foods. I baked an acorn squash with a bit of butter and brown sugar and then pureed it so that I can sip on a healthy but sweet treat.

I have a new healthy treat. It's the Santa Barbara Mango Salsa from Costco. It is so good. I use Triscuit Thins to eat it with or put it on my chicken or fish. Today I even added some chunks of avocado to it before putting it on my chicken. Yummy!

I tried the Dannon Greek yogurt and it tasted like sour cream to me - even the flavored ones. I tried adding fruit but that didn't help much with the taste. Maybe I'll try the Yoplait.

I have had Oikos and Fage, but not eaten close enough to one another to tell the difference. They were both good. The biggest difference I noticed from other yogurts is the thicker consistency and the texture is a little different. The thing that bothers me most is the price!

I have had it with honey and loved it! Just be careful of those calories!

I read that Greek yogurt has more protein and less sugar than regular yogurt. Also, it is thicker and richer in consistency. As far as the taste, I've heard it's tangier. I've never tried it, but I've heard adding honey and walnuts to it is good. Blueberries like Jen mentioned or blueberries and granola also sounds good.

I like trying all of the different apple varieties. Fugi, Gala, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Red Delicious, you name it. Berries and grapes are good too.

I also like yogurt, but I go through phases with that. I've been wanting to try non-fat Greek yogurt. What does everyone think of it? Any ideas for things to add to it?

I have really been into apples and oranges lately. I expected the price of oranges to skyrocket due to the cold weather in Florida, but I have been buying bags of navel oranges that are cheap and fabulous! I have also had wonderful, sweet, crisp apples (Fuji, Ambrosia, and Honeycrisp especially.

I like those little bags of kettle corn too. You're right about that little bit of sweetness. I also like the 100 calorie packs of Blue Diamond Almonds. They have a new kind that is cocoa flavored, so again there's that little bit of sweetness.

I love berry smoothies, too, Cynthia. I buy a bag of mixed berries (blueberries, strawberries and marionberries, I think) at Costco. They make great smoothies!

I also love ones made with fresh pineapple (I cut it up and freeze it, so I don't have to add ice to the mix) a little frozen banana and orange juice. It tastes very Sunny!

Just tried the Skinny Cow Chocolate Truffle bar (100cal it is Super Yummy and seemed to offer more chocolate flavor then their fudge bar (100cal). I will be alternating these for my dinner treat!

I went to look for my oatmeal cookie recipe and it isn't there. I must have screwed something up in trying to post it or, because it basically is the same one as Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies (only changing Splenda for the sugar), so maybe it was just deleted because it would have been a duplication, but you can still find it.

Since it turned cold, I have been making my crustless apple pie mixture a lot, also fat free cottage cheese with apples, grapes, or salsa added

I think I getting addicted to blueberry green tea!

I have been really into citrus lately, too. I have had some delicious grapefruit, oranges and clementines, and one of my favorite beverages is diet tonic water (I absolutely love "Vintage" brand. It is so much better than regular tonic water.) with fresh lime juice! It is a real treat to me. emoticon

OK ladies, I wrote up my recipe just now. It is under Healthy, Apple, Oatmeal, Raisin Cookies. I think it came out to 76 calories per cookie, but the are nice size and the recipe makes about 4 dozen. They always go a long way when I make them. I even crumble them and put them in yogurt. Try them, you will like them.

This is not really a treat, it was dinner.

Last night I made a crustless quiche. I used some mixed cooked vegetable left from dinner the night before. I just threw a few eggs into a cup of egg whites and cooked that and the veggies on top the stove until the eggs started to stick together. Then I poured the whole thing into a non-stick bake pan, sprinkled breadcrumbs on top and added some grated cheese. I cooked it in the oven for about 30 min and it was delicious. Good way to use up leftovers too

On good days, I'll eat an apple or banana. If I have time I'll make myself a smoothie with 1 cup strawberries, 1/2 banana and 1/3 cup of soy milk for about 150-160 calories. The smoothie makes me feel like I'm cheating.

I didn't put the recipe in the nutrition tracker, but the oatmeal cookies that are listed are 57 calories for 1 cookie and I think they probably have more sugar than I use. One of these days, I'll enter my recipe because I would like to know for sure. They are really moist and have become a staple in our house.

Another thing I like is sugar free orange jello with grated carrots. It is really refreshing. Because cranberry sauce has so many calories, I use sugar free strawberry jelly instead. (every calorie I save helps in the long run)

I have been making oatmeal cookies and they are really good. I use the receipe right off the box of old fashioned oats and substitute Splenda for sugar and only use 1/2 the brown sugar. I also use twice the cinnamon and add an additional cup of oats. My BF is pre-diabetic and can't eat much sugar so I added grated apples to the mix. They are not sweet, but have lots of flavor. Kind of a combination between cookies and spice cake. Very moist and makes about 4 dozen so they last a long time.

I used to buy ice cream all the time. I am happy to say I have found something much better for me and very delicious. You need a food processor and use frozen fruit. Any kind will work. My favorites are Blueberry, Strawberry and Peach. I use a cup of the frozen fruit and less than 1 cup of 1% milk. Put the fruit in first and do a few turns to start mashing it up. Slowly add the milk until it gets to look like soft serve ice cream. It only takes a couple of minutes and you are done. If it is too tart, add some sugar free jelly in Blueberry, Strawberry or Peach. It is 180 calories for 2 cups. I split it and one cup is usually plenty. This way you know there are no chemicals and no sugar in your ice cream and it tastes so refreshing. I had to experiment to get the right consistency, but now I've got it and I may never buy ice cream again.

True confession here. My name is Carol and I'm an ice creamaholic!!

Nighttime is my worst time of day. I have found that if I allow myself a treat at the end of the day, it will stop the bingeing feeling. One of my favorite treats is the Weight Watchers Giant Fudge bar. It is giant and deleeese!! Only 1 WW point, so can't be that bad. It is like a Wendy's frosty on a stick.

Shall we do pinky swear that we will stop at one????!!!!

anything in snack sized bags. i premeasure stuff for work. that way i already know the calories before i eat it.

A Frigo String Cheese (only 80 calories) gets me through the time between breakfast and lunch when I really start to get hungry.

Debs Favorite Snacks

Cottage Cheese with or without fruit
Boiled Egg Whites with a bit of mustard or sabra roasted red pepper hummus
Rice Cake with peanut butter ( with a bit of Polander Jelly)
Apple with Peanut butter
String Cheese with 2 slices Natural Turkey Breast rolled up with the hummus

:) No snacks after 7 and the way my meals are going right now only one snack item choice
