Just ran in my newest running shorts. They are Saucony, and really lightweight. Dark grey with a flash of bright orange-red along the sides. I found them on the Sierra Trading Post web site and decided they would be one of my rewards for progress through the C25K training program. They are SUPER comfortable for this heat, fit great, and have a small zipper pocket in back that holds my mp3 player nicely!

Last week I found a deal that was so exciting. I was at Kohls and I love Lauren Conrad's collection. She has a cute pale pink motorcycle jacket out right now, for $72, with three quarter sleeves. I love it and remember that she had one out last year at this time with long sleeves.
I was looking through the rack for one in my size to try on, and when I pulled it out, I realized it looked different than the rest. It had long sleeves, and it was clearly one left over from last year. It had no tag, and after asking around a bunch of sales associates, a guy in customer service was able to pull it up on the computer and told me it was on clearance for $18. Not only that, but as he was writing up the ticket, he said he was mistaken, it was only $14! I also like the older version because it's warmer on chilly days with the full sleeves.
Went to Roosevelt Field Mall yesterday looking for something in NY&Co; stopped by Nordstroms, and decided to treat myself to a pair of Tory Burch Ballet Flats in tan. Plan to wear them through the summer!! LOL

I've been looking for some black platform slides. I don't like straps around my ankles! I wanted a heel that wasn't too chunky, but not stiletto either. Well, I LOVE my new netbook. It will sure come in handy on trips. As you know, I've been looking to replace my tote/bookbag. I got this: www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ Product_10151_-1_10001_99495_325006000 _325000000_325006000_325-6-0 but it's too small to fit all my stuff, and it's heavy for it's size (due to the thick, oiled leather and abundance of hardware). Plus, the clasp comes open when you lift it by the top handle. Because it's oiled leather, it shows scratches BADLY. I'm taking it back tomorrow. Today, I bought this: www.flotoimports.com/TackDuffleBlack.html and this: www.zappos.com/dooney-bourke-cowhide-large -tote-cognac because I love both and couldn't decide. Colors as posted here. They should both work, so I'll have to see which one is more comfortable on my shoulder for extended periods when fully loaded.

I have been using my phone for email when I'm away from my computer and it SUCKS! It's expensive and it sucks all the battery life out of my phone SO FAST. It is cumbersome and takes forever to navigate on a tiny screen as well. One of the chief reasons I want a netbook! My biggest need is email (which I really THOUGHT would be taken care of when I bought the top-of-the-line phone) and writing documents. I'm sure if I wanted to play games, a netbook would be completely inadequate; but for my purposes I am very hopeful that my headaches will go away.

I keep thinking about the iTouch to use as a portable internet accessible item - but so little! I like having it that small and portable, but might be way too small for reading/working online. Also, it would only be wifi compatible - because I don't want to pay AT&T any more than I have to, LOL!

One of the Acer Aspire models was in my final 3: www.amazon.com/Acer-Timeline-AS1810T-8638- 11-6-Inch-Display/dp/B002TEDANO But I just didn't want to pay that much. The other was the HP mini 311 series. All three are top rated and have great features, but if I could get what I wanted for 400, well....

Very cool! Let me know how you like it! I bought the Acer Aspire for my "son" in Liberia, he loves it - I tried it and hated it, but, well, I'm a Mac person.
BTW, my gold Birks don't fit well - they seem small (as in short) - and most of my shoes are Birks, so I don't understand. Unless they're running small because the sole is all covered in leather. I think I'll try for the next size - need to contact Amazon.

I definitely need a laptop that's small and easy to fit into my handbag or carry-on, and this one has a long battery life and is one of the highest rated netbooks on the market. I'm SOOOOOOO excited!!

Ordered these, they came in (they were on sale) - they truly are like liquid gold - gawwwwwjus!!!!!!!
Just bought this - wasn't planning to, but there it was, right in front of where I parked my car, I tried it on, it looks amazing (way better on than in this picture). Totally makes me look curvey and shapely and small.
I also bought a couple of really cute LBDs for Banana Republic & Ann Taylor but can't find em on line anymore. The selection of LBDs is really great now.

I shop every single day. And it's very few days I don't come home with something I really love. I now have filled up every closet in the house (5 1/2 big closets!), except for the half a closet DH gets (evil grin).
Last night I just spent 2 or 3 hours taking a whole bunch of stuff out so I can take it to the consignment shop, and now I can go shop some more!!!

Bought a new handbag!! Ok, fashionistas! The thing is, I have NEVER gotten a fashionable handbag because I was always trying to go with neutral browns because they go with everything. And as money is tight, I never thought I could get anything "pretty." But I found this handbag over the weekend and bought it, and it just changes my outlook. I think I'm now addicted to getting new handbags. Oh master card, look out! Here it is....
