Ah, gotcha. Running every day, my legs are tired. But I think that's to be expected. I also need to respect the recovery single-mile days.

It's a 'yellow' flag warning symptom. Sorry for the confusion.

Afoot,

Even with no actual knee pain? Is that what the doc said? That's a little scary.

I was told to take a day off today by my oldest child, she's a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Why. I made the mistake of whining to her about how 'heavy' my legs felt during a jog. I got a quick lesson in 'body-talk'. Heavy legs is a symptom of severe chronic knee pain. Which can end running/jogging.
So from now on-heavy feeling legs during a jog, slow down and walk, then take a day off.

I find that the bigger the breakfast you eat, the less hungry you are throughout the day.

Good job on the jogging, that's awesome!

And I'm still sorting out my own eating. All my running has me so dang hungry!

Great plan. And I bet the more you start seeing the savings stack up, the more motivated you will be.

My wife and I have decided on a certain amount to lose before 1/1/13 and we are putting aside a certain amount weekly that will go towards that. There is now a savings account set up for it. We will save on eating out less, packing snacks in a small cooler for running errands, refilling water bottles at the gym, going to the gym for a movie (they have a theater with treadmills), cutting back on meats and many others areas.

Set a Goal and put back a little every week.
