I was told to take a day off today by my oldest child, she's a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Why. I made the mistake of whining to her about how 'heavy' my legs felt during a jog. I got a quick lesson in 'body-talk'. Heavy legs is a symptom of severe chronic knee pain. Which can end running/jogging. So from now on-heavy feeling legs during a jog, slow down and walk, then take a day off.
My wife and I have decided on a certain amount to lose before 1/1/13 and we are putting aside a certain amount weekly that will go towards that. There is now a savings account set up for it. We will save on eating out less, packing snacks in a small cooler for running errands, refilling water bottles at the gym, going to the gym for a movie (they have a theater with treadmills), cutting back on meats and many others areas.
