Gained another 1.4 pounds this week.
3 weeks ago the pharmacy gave me generic. Had blood test Monday, the Dr. wants to try another month at 150mcg of snythroid.He thinks the generic just isn't working as well.

Up 1.6 pounds this week.
Just wondering if it could be that I started doing muscle building exercises this week. Or maybe it has something to do with a gastritis flare-up. Whatever. I will keep exercising and staying in my calorie range. It will go back down......

The Dr. lowered my dose from 200mcg. to 150mcg. I will have to go back for another visit in a month to make sure the meds are at the right dosage.

I know I am a day early, but wanted to get started while it was on my mind.
By my old scales, I have lost 4 ponds in the last 4 weeks. That is when I started on the meds.
Bought a new digital scale. It put me up 4 ponds. The old scale still says I lost it. I will be using the new scale from now on, so my ticker will reflect that number. Also had my levels checked yesterday. Will no the results in a couple of days, but was told that it takes 6-8 weeks to start seeing and feeling the benifits.

Pamuldrow~ Don't loose hope! Your levels might be off, glad your getting it checked out! I know that when I don't exercise the weight goes on. It was true for me last week.

This week I lost 2lbs! But I got my exercise in this week:) when last week I didn't.

156 emoticon I have gained. But to be honest I didn't workout that much last week and had a bit of a sweet tooth over the weekend. I am trying to get back on track. I go to the doctor next wed I am going to mention that I have been doing this for 7 months and only lost 10-11 lbs maybe my levels are off

yeah I can understand. I'd stop restricting calories for awhile too just to let my body reset and help my metabolism. I hope you find something that works for you.

Last week i was 146, I'm going to weigh in Friday and hope I've lost a pound. I haven't been trying very hard. I need to focus again!

So its that time again and its 154 the same as always. I have did everything to break this plateau. I'm not going to lie I even ate under 1200 calories last week nothing. I am going to continue to workout because I like the toning and definition in my body but I am really starting to consider enjoying food a little bit more because nothing is really happening with me. It could be the frustrations.

Armonia thanks for the links I have read and tried those steps many of times. I think my body likes 153/154. If I wasn't 5'1 I would just listen to my body.

yay for tea parties!!

I weighed in today. I'm 147! I've been bringing a really nutritional lunch to work and trying to get breakfast in everyday. I think it really helps!

I got a pint of Hagendas (sp) Coffee ice cream, the kind with only 5 ingredients so it's super delicious and not full of chemicals. I would normally eat this in one sitting. I finished it last night which means I had it for five days! I think it's a new record!

Yeah, well, ummmmm......... I have gained 3 pounds.

Its my usual nemesis. Company.

I am, however, using this time to work on self talk, and haven't had any meltdowns, being miserable and abusive to myself, so that's positive.

You know, I really don't go hog wild at all. I'm always mindful. That's positive too. I usually gain the 3 (its always 3) right at the beginning, never much more than that, and I always loose it in a week or 2. Never deviated from that pattern.

So, now that I have caught on to the overall pattern, I am not putting myself down nearly as much. This is huge!

Off to explore tide pools and have a tea party with my Grand-daughter...... have a great day. TJ.

Well I did it, even tho I was having a punk day, I decided to talk to the white wonder on the floor. I figure I likely lost a bit before weighing in and starting to spark again, and I'm still in onederland....by a hair. Came in at 199, been there, but not even close to my highest which was great. Need to check in my profile and change it now and keep my eyes on my....not fries.... clothes are definitely fitting better, and so am I.

I'm ..... drum roll please....148lbs! I'm pretty happy with that considering I just moved across the country and started a new job. Looks like I escaped without much stress eating.

Twinklejoy: I LOVED you list of things you've learned. I know I never give myself or my body enough credit for how strong I am. I think I'm weak but I can get through a little hunger, a hard work out, sweat (oh my). It's good to be reminded tho too!

Well........ I had some sort of breakthrough with my attitude mid May. I'm now a lot more honest with myself about what I do eat. A Lot!!!! I have also stopped whining and giving myself excuses, along the lines of "poor me, burdened with hypothyroid, and its sooooooo hard and unfair" I also stepped up exercise and didn't keel over with fatigue lol. I use the tracker, there is a lot to learn from that thing!!!!!! And. I did find out that I probably wont have to go to the hospital if my stomach growls. Oh. And I learned to eat extra on days of major calorie burn. Its been a fun few weeks.

I have lost 4.6 pounds in 6 weeks, since that breakthrough. I feel uneasy about even typing it here. Its weird. That usually doesn't happen. Maybe it is an anomaly. Now that I am thinking about it I feel kind of freaked out. Yikes!!!!!!

That's me anyway...... I have just finished updating my tracker with estimated calories burned, and got more. hahaha But now that training for the 10 k is done, we will see if I can keep up the same level.

Another new addition to our team roster. After the weekend if you've had a slip, this gives you a few days to get back on your feet, before your feet hit the scales. Remembering that we do usually lose slower please be patient with yourself, just keep journalling, be open and dust off that little platform we love to hate, or maybe you like it. No matter, this is a subject to brag or just get it off your chest. (yes I'd like to get a bit off mine too lol). Just follow this thread to let everyone know how your week went.
