It's funny some years everything grows great and the next nothing grows well at all. Last year I had crappy corn this year it's growing great and the vegetable spaghetti has at least 5 fruits on each plant.

Hi! I signed up for the book! That's quite a useful website!! I really like it!
I had my first vegetable garden last year, in some ways it was a success and in others, not so much.
my corn had this purple icky looking growth on it - what was that from?!?! and my beets never got big enough to eat - I think they didn't get enough sunlight. My tomatoes went wild and I had way more than I could even give away! and my pumpkins were my pride and joy!!! :D who knew pumpkins could give a gal so much pleasure?? :) LOL!
We built a new flower bed in the front - west facing, so i am trying to figure out what to plant there - i would like perennials so that I don't have to replant every year as it's a rather large space, 4' x 8'...
This is the first house I have owned, so have been able to get out and make changes and play in the dirt...and I'm LOVING IT!!!! :)
Anyway, Hello to all!!! :D
:) ttfn... :)
