I ended the month on 252.04 miles, so very pleased with that.

I am a Midlands member as I used to live in the Midlands, Just outside Stoke on Trent, in fact. I moved to Norwich a year ago but as there is no Norwich group, just a Cambridge group with 2 members, me and a lady who seems to have left SP, I thought that I would be a Midlands Groupie emoticon

How did you go on Catman124? Did you do the final 16 miles?
Same again for October then? I'll go start a new thread.

Blessed are the cracked for it is those who let in the light.

OK, so that is 236 miles this month. Only 3 days to go until the end of the month but only 16 miles to do to break the 250 mile marker (just gotta hope the weather holds out)

Hi Millie,

sounds like you have OCCD, (Obsesive Compulsive Cycling Disorder) like I do at the moment. So far this month I have covered 199 miles with a target of 200 but I can probably stretch to 250 to match you.
Are you using a tracker when you ride (Endamondo or map-my-ride etc)? I find Endamondo running on my phone keeps track of the mileage pretty accurately and can share to facebook for good bragging purposes after a long ride.
As you are a Midlands team member I don't suppose that you cycle anywhere near to us hear in West Bromwich, meeting up somewhere could be a bit of fun and good for a change of scenery.

Well done on your challenge so far.
As you know, I don't tend to set challenges very often for the team but welcome all members to set their own.

I have set myself a challenge for this month. To cycle 250 miles this month, there are 30 days in September so that's 8.3 miles per day. Only about 40 minutes on my bike so easy peasy yes?
Or not. So far I have done 149 miles and have a 20 miler planned today and 26 miles on a social ride in Ipswich tomorrow. That will leave 7 days and 55 miles. That's just shy of 8 miles left per day. My riding has been a bit hit and miss this month. It started out well as I was training for a 60 mile challenge ride on the 8th, which I did, but then I have had no goal so its all gone a bit Pete Tong. Setting the 250 mile challenge and signing up to tomorrow's SKYride has spurred me on.

Has anyone else set themselves a challenge for this lovely month? I would really love to hear about it.

Blessed are the cracked for it is those who let in the light.
