Okay, so I had to research to figure out exactly what the weekly home blessing hour was and now I will post that I have already done the following over the past two days (Sun/Mon):
vacuumed all acccessible areas...not under furniture or boxes.
Put away laundry that had been packed.
Unpacked and shelved all books.
Washed all dishes. Cleaned stovetop, sinks, and counters.
Put away miscellaneous toiletries (extra shampoos and stuff) then cleaned mirror, counter, and sink.
Organized majority of craft stuff (scrapbooking items, sewing items).
Made space on closet shelf for the games/puzzles that were piled in hallway.
Made a donation box which is now overflowing.
Helped son with homework and extra credit assignments.
Removed boxes that are still packed from bedroom and put in living room where they are more likely to get unpacked since I have to look at them every day and they are an eyesore.
Matched all mismatched socks and put in sock drawer.
It took more than an hour, and I still put forth a couple hours a day on the unpacking endeavor, but it's worth it. Not only am I unpacking my stuff, but I am also donating things I don't need, and making room for my boyfriend's things which are being moved in starting next week when he returns from DC.
Whew! I'm exhausted just reading my list! hahahaha
