I didn't get anything new put away today, but I did get rid of my collection of paperbags that I've been working on for about 20 years! Someone on Freecycle requested them back in December when I was awefully busy, and I finally asked her if she still wanted them. Yes! So I got them down, and my husband put them all in one bag, and I set it out for her to pick up tomorrow! Yippee! I also gave away a bag of clothes and bedlinens that I've had hanging around for almost a week, or so.
I should do that challenge a few more times this evening!
In with my "groceries" (paper towels, t.p., cat litter) - all put away - and out with 2 pair of jeans that don't fit any more. They are in the car to go to Good Will along with extra calendars I received and a few other goodies.
I let go of 4 pr. of pj's and 2 pr. of shoes. I got 4 night shirts with Christmas money. I feel good!
What's even better is my hubby cleaned out his underwear drawer and now we have room for his newer boxers and what he got for Christmas. You don't know how hard it is for him to get rid of ANY clothes. I am proud of what he accomplished today. I'll work on him next to get rid of some shirts in the closet he hasn't worn for years. I have to really space this stuff out or he resists the idea at all.
