My daughter has never really fussed about drinking water and she actually prefers it. I buy her a new water bottle from time to time and that definitely helps! She rotates between them and we keep one at work and one at home (she comes to work with me every day) so she can always refill it. I don't typically offer juice or soda, though she does get milk in the morning and before bed. Aside from that, it is generally water and I make sure she has a water bottle with her at all times.

Always. Out of the 4 or 5 beverages served to her each day, 2 are not water/milk.

Luckily, she loves it!

I try! She has one of those insulated cups with the straw at her "spot" at the table with water at all times. Also during the summer I keep lots of Capri Sun waters available - I know they aren't the best option, but they are much better than soda or other drinks!

I try! We all have a water bottle or sippy cup. We fill them up and put them on the cupboard and drink throughout the day. I need to get my husband to take a water bottle to work and put at his desk.

Our pediatrician got me on to this.

Just curious how many other people are encouraging their kids to drink water daily?

We were doing juices, but the switch to water saves money.
