Tonight, I worked out for about 45 minutes, then went to check my calorie burn for the day on my armband. After 45 minutes of pretty intense activity (definitely breathing harder and sweating more than my usual treadmill work, which the body media seems to have no problem logging), the arm band added only 2 minutes of activity. I was doing some yoga poses and then some kettlebells and 30 Day Shred like circuits, so I didn't know if it just generally has trouble logging this stuff? It's also a little frustrating because it only increased my calorie burn by about 100 calories, which is pretty normal for me over the course of an hour if I'm sitting still and not doing anything at all.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I don't want to start doubting the arm band, because then I'll doubt its feedback even when it does log stuff. Advice? Tips?
Running (and walking) my first half marathon at the end of February! I'm excited to push myself and see what I can do!
