I used my legs to push the freezer, I bent down and put my back to the freezer. Most of my co-workers were in a meeting for the afternoon so there was no one around but the secretary and believe me when I say she is useless, all she can help with is making a mess. It was more of a challenge to move it back because you can't see where you are going.

Great work, Crazy!

But with a bad back, maybe you shouldn't have moved that freezer. Don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

I did no cardio yesterday. I probably should have, but spent about 3+ hours putting up a shed, and I considered that my cardio for the day. It was real work, but not cardio.

We were giving them away, the walk/run is completely free of all charges, our team from the school does all the fund raising for this event, and the school usually chips in the money for the food.

Update on the time I have been missing in action. I keep up with the action most of the week.

21, Jillian's Level 1 30 Day Shred
22, Jillian's Level 1 30 Day Shred
23, Jillian's Level 1 30 Day Shred & 33 1/2 minutes elliptical
24, Jillian's Level 1 30 Day Shred & 43 1/2 minutes elliptical
25, Jillian's Level 1 30 Day Shred & 33 1/2 minutes elliptical

I was going to try and workout 6 days this week to make up for last week's missed workout, but I had to work late Thursday night, 13 1/4 hours put in at work. Then Friday I did 9 hours with physical work being done because of a mouse being trapped in the kitchen. I even moved the 1/2 full 7 cu ft freezer so I could scrub under there.

I ended up taking a day off work to head to the walk-in Dr's. I developed another sinus infection. I had a really bad cold a couple weeks ago and was forced to take time off work because of it. That turned into this sinus infection. Third one this school year, and I have never had them before.

I have also had a bad back this week, so I also made an appointment for Deep Tissue Massage on my back, I have been without pain for more than a month and thought I had gotten my back muscles strong enough. But it has been painful all week to the point I can't sleep, and have to lean back on the counter edges to try and massage it, OTC pain meds really aren't touching it at all. I may have to try a combination of them (Tylenol and ibuprofen, I think it helped last night or it could have been the alcohol.

Keep it up Crystal. It's good to keep active.

Let's see for me ...
Saturday, biking in the am, walking in the pm
Sunday, walking
Today, cycling

The walking was up and down hill. It got me breathing hard.

Yesterday I didn't get a set exercise in but I was running errands ALL day and going in and out of stores. I always park kinda far away so I have to walk a good ways regardless. Yesterday went by so fast it was crazy! Thanks for the encouragement! Have a great day!!

Maybe I should start throwing some videos back into the mix again.

I've started back with walking - walking in the neighborhood, walking around the neighborhood at work. Maybe I will finally get another bike ride in today. I will definitely do some walking up and down hills this weekend. (Unless the weather turns really nasty, but I don't think it will.)

Sorry you missed your 5k, Crazy. Sounds like you had a terrific turnout. Were you giving away the hot dogs or selling them?

Keep up the great work Crystal!

Well I had to miss out on the 5K, when everyone was warming up, I looked around and panicked, I was sure we didn't have enough hot dogs, so I borrowed a car and went back to the school and picked up sandwich stuff, when I got back they had already started, so I stayed behind and with 3 helpers made almost 60 sandwiches. We had extra sandwiches at the end of the day.

But it was a great turnout, we are still in a learning curve, well at least that is what I think. Last year we hardly had 100 participants and hardly anyone came out to support it. This year we had 240 participants registered and lots of people came out for support. Next year I will have to order another box or two.

Yea I do apologize for doing the same thing. I have been logging it on my tracker but not in here. I usually do some sort of something everyday! It is either a 30 walk at home with Leslie Sansone or a 45 minute with her! All according to the day! I have only missed one day and that was this past Sunday! I hate that but it happens I guess!!

Way to go!

Doing the exercise is definitely more important than logging it - here, elsewhere, or anywhere.

On the other hand, sharing what you did is helpful both to others and to keep yourself accountable. I will have to admit I have not been exercising! I started this thread and fell off the wagon. Of course, I did not plan to get sick. I am feeling stronger. I resolve to get back on the wagon tomorrow.

Sorry I haven't been posting. I have been working-out every day. I am debating about tonight.

Monday, I did Jillian and 30 minutes on the elliptical.
Tuesday, I did just Jillian.

I am trying to save some energy for tomorrow, we have our local, can I now say annual, 5 K walk/run. This is our second year doing it, and by the sounds of things we will have about 200 people participating. I am beginning to think I didn't order enough hot dogs for this. I ordered 320, I will see if there are anymore hanging around in the freezer at work.

I worked out very hard yesterday. I got out yesterday after we got home from shopping and raked the lawn, the lawn mower broke down last summer and the grass grew really long, then it hasn't rained much so the grass isn't doing so well, so I got out there for about 2 hours and raked, I tried to burn too, but it was too wet. Then last night I got a burst of energy and needed to work it off, so after getting the kids to bed, I put on Jillian, and shredded it, then got on the elliptical with a goal of 30 minutes, I didn't think I would do that much, but 30 came, so I decided 40, then 45, then said forget it I will do 60, and after that 45 I sprinted. I felt so awesome afterwards. Today my poor back was sore, and I mean really sore, but I am ready to workout again.

That's great!

We all need a rest day now and then. In fact, I believe we are supposed to do cardio a minimum of 3 times a week and a maximum of 6!

Well Saturday I did my 30 min. Walk at home video with Leslie Sansone. Sunday I got a little lazy and didn't do anything. It was just one of those days! But I am getting back on track today!

Well, after working a lot of overtime this past week, I gave myself a lazy day Saturday. Then Sunday I went for a walk and got a stomach ache in the middle of it and came home early. I only walked 20 minutes.

So I will have to see how it goes...

I'm not sure if I am up to exercising today or not. If I'm coming down with something, I may have to put this off for a bit. (On a personal level.) I encourage the rest of you to go for it!

I have been doing my Jillian 30 Day Shred Level 1 for the last 4 days, and did my elliptical the day before that for 30 minutes. I am doing my best to get back on track and stay there.

Let's challenge ourselves to either keep up or increase our cardio.

Pick a level and post it here.
Then, starting on Saturday, record your progress.

We all need to do it! At least 30 minutes at least 3 times a week. (5 is better!)

I am going to aim for a minimum of 30 min. at least 5 times a week starting next Saturday.
A lot of it will be on my bicycle, but I will do indoor aerobics if it rains.
