Today for lunch I made a baked tofu wrap:
* whole wheat tortilla
* red pepper hummus
* spinach
* tomato
* red onion
* and baked tofu cut into little slices
* with lots of hot sauce!

Yum!

I love tofu! Seriously, straight out of the package, it's a bit gross, but you can do so many things with it!

Here is one of my favorite tofu sauce recipes from the Green Temple in Redondo Beach:

For a hot meal, serve beans and veggies over the whole grain of your choice (I love brown rice or barley) and pour this sauce (warmed) over it.

It's also amazing cold as a salad dressing!

Try this over tostadas or black bean tacos. Yummy!

I have eaten tofu, but I've never cooked it myself. I just ran into a sale, so I bought one package of soft and one of firm. What are your favorite things to do with it? I have all sorts of condiments and sauces to make marinades, etc. Just about the only thing I can't do is grill it. Suggestions?
