I like the stationary bike at Gold's Gym. I like being in the dark and watching a movie or if I can't stand the movie I take headphones and ride in the dark. Dark is the main attraction!

In the summer I like the track. emoticon emoticon

Honestly, my favorite is just walking. I only wish it were a bit more effective.

I like things that get me places or have some sort of end product-- walking or jogging to the store, cycling to the store or work, gardening, and so on. In fact, I really ought to get off the computer and go walk to the bookstore today!

I also love hiking, but I don't get enough opportunities for that. I need to find some friends who are near my same fitness level. Most of my friends can't quite keep up with me, but I can't keep up with people in the hiking or cycling groups and clubs I've seen. I'm too average!

I absolutely love yoga, especially Kundalini! My current favorite cardio exercise is cycling.

I tried a Tabata class on Tuesday and really liked it. It's based on High Intensity Interval Training. The instructor was really upbeat. I think I'll go again!

My next fitness adventure is rock climbing. I bought a Groupon for 2 classes at a climbing club near the airport. The guys at REI strongly recommended them. Can't wait!
