All, I've been listening to a podcast called Inside Out Weightloss. I like it - it's based on hypnotherapy, cogitative therapy and life coaching strategies around eating in tune with your body. It's really been helping me.personallifemedia.com/podcasts/216-inside-
For example, last week I set the following goal.
Mini goals. 1/2-1/8 - do the SP bootcamp daily, ride 3 X, (1 long ride of 15 miles), in range 4/7.
Mini goal results - no bike ride due to bike in shop, but got cardio exercise in. Quit SP Bootcamp due to level of exercise was causing calf pain, but got in substitute exercises, DID stay in range 5/7 new record for me!
So old black and white thinking me would be upset that all actual goals were not met - improving grey scale me is proud that the intent of my goals was met and I was flexible.
This podcast reminded me to look behind my goals to the intent and that was really helpful.
Can you recommend other fitness, health, or motivational podcasts?
