Power 90 is one of the workouts from Beachbody.com. They do a lot of different workouts all on dvd. You have probably seen some of their infomercials. LOL

I have a hard time myself, which is why I like the videos. I can actually see in real time what I'm suppose to be doing and what my form should look like.

Power 90 is a 90 day workout. You alternate strength training one day, cardio/sculpt and abs then next day for six days a week, and take one day for rest. It comes with an eating plan which is very flexible. You're given the choice of several breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks, and just pick one a day, or just stay within your calorie limit. It's entirely up to you.

I like it because I know what I'm suppose to do each day. It even has a calendar to help keep track of the workouts. I need the structure.

What is Power 90?

I've tried putting together or following stuctured strengthening exercise plans, but it's so much work -- having to keep looking up the exercises so I make sure I'm doing the right ones AND doing them right. I really need to make myself just do it and learn them all.

That is pretty neat. I didn't realize that was there. I guess I really need to check out Sparkpeople more often huh? LOL

For now, Im committed to Power 90. I am going to do the full 90 day program and see where I am at that time. Hopefully, in a lot better shape.

I do enjoy working out at home. Since moving back to the States, I don't have a gym two blocks from my house. The closest gym to me would be a 30 minute drive.

If you scroll over the orange bar and Healthy Lifestyle, and then click on fitness in the blue drop down bar...
You will see a tool called Fitness generator.
I use that tool now and also the fitness workout videos. I can work out right in my studio and not interrupt anyone who is using my TV. Now, I can workout any time I want too. :)

I was curious to know if anyone was on any specific exercise plan. I just started Power 90..today is day 4....and so far so good. I am such a scatter brained type person that I have to have a structured plan laid out before me or I won't stick to anything. Anyone else out there like me and need to have a structured routine? What are you guys trying out? I also have Turbo Jam, but I'm trying to stick to Power 90 for now.

See what I mean....my mind is always in the clouds jumping from one thought to the next! LOLemoticon
