It was my intention when I suggested doing it this way to encouage others who might be hesitant to participate because they know they can't keep up. We could offer both types of challenge and let everyone decide which one (or even both) they want to participate in, I actually considered that for this month, but was worried about not being able to find time to keep track of two and award SparkGoodies for both.

Bev, all of it gives me the incentive to keep on going !!

I like this because not all of us have time to get in hundreds of minutes, but this way we can all keep up.

I've noticed on my other teams that there are not many participants. It just may be the month or summer & they have other things going.

We don't have as many participants this time, so it looks like next month we might need to go back to doing minutes. If you haven't updated your exercise days for week one, please do so ASAP. So far, the only one I see who has done something every day is KARL1266. I missed one day and BESCATS missed two. I think a few others maybe just haven't caught up their tracking.

I meant to respond to this yesterday and time got away from me and I forgot to do it. I would agree with what BESCATS is saying. I realize that you do a lot of fitness minutes on the days you exercise and you might need those rest days. I think when I originally said 10 minutes was enough to count that maybe those like you who do a lot most days but take a couple of days off might do just 10 minutes on a "rest day". If that doesn't work for you, then go ahead and take your rest days and just post the days that you do exercise. I said I would award SparkGoodies to those who keep the streak going all week, but there is nothing to say I can't award SparkGoodies for other things as well. I know that you will do way more than me in a month even if I logged something every day. I'm not sure I could find enough time in my day to keep up with you!

That's okay LOVEMYBOOBUG ~ it doesn't matter if you miss days. I have already missed a couple, and I don't always exercise on the weekend either. It sounds like you have good streaks going during the week. Please join us !!

I really like the idea of the the monthly challenges, but sadly I'm not going to participate in this one. My goal isn't to carry a streak every single day, since as most of you know, I exercise MANY minutes during the week, and my body really needs the "active recovery" slow walks or complete days of rest I do on the weekends. So, already my streak would be finished since June first landed on a Saturday :( hopefully see you guys for a new challenge next month :)

My streak will not last the entire month because I was a day late getting started. We were gone for most of the weekend and I never did get even 10 minutes of exercise in on Saturday. Yesterday I picked up a new exercise bike, so I did get on that for a while last night after we got it put together. Hopefully I will keep the streak going for the rest of the month.

Well, I guess I only missed 3 days out of 30, so I didn't do too bad even though I didn't keep a streak going for 30 days. The most I did was 10 consecutive days.

Instead of tracking fitness minutes for June, let's see if we can keep an exercise streak going. It is a good idea to alternate cardio with strength training, but let's see if we can keep a streak going for the entire month. Small amounts of exercise add up, so any day that you do at least 10 minutes of some type of fitness/exercise will count. Ideally we should be doing more than 10 minutes most days, but on a busy day 10 minutes is better than no minutes.

Next to the day just type the word "done" if you did your exercise for that day. I broke the month out by week (Sunday - Saturday), but included an extra day in the first and last weeks. If you copy and paste from below into your own post you can simply edit it each time you want to update your progress. At the end of each week I will give SparkGoodies to anyone who kept their streak going for the entire week.
