Congrats Karl on your daughters wedding , wishing her and your family the best ! I am up for any kind of challenge if anyone wants to do it although I am kinda lame about doing them ! So if you forgo to do them also thats okay as Im not the one keeping score ! lol , Thank you for doing that by the way :)

Congratulations to you and your daughter! You might be too busy with the wedding to do much for exercise (although dancing at the reception might count), but you could always just jot it down on paper and enter it later- or if your memory is better than mine you might be able to remember it without jotting it down.

Okay everyone, I did it again- I got behind on reporting the results and awarding SparkGoodies. I have just tallied up weeks 3 and 4 and will be sending SparkGoodies shortly to those who have earned them.

For week 3, the top three are:

LOVEMYBOOBUG with 838 minutes
H20-LADY with 755 minutes
CANDOIT54 with 705 minutes

For week 4, the top three are:

LOVEMYBOOBUG with 730 minutes
H20-LADY with 678 minutes
CANDOIT54 with 660 minutes

Congratulations to everyone who made the effort to participate! Welcome ANNKSAW, who joined us during week 4.


May is almost over, so that means we need to think about what to do for June. Do you prefer to continue the same challenge, take a break from doing one at all, or do something a little different? I was considering doing something along the lines of an exercise streak - to see how many days in a row we can log fitness minutes. Some of us do a ton of exercise and others do less, but it all counts. If we concentrate on consistency rather than quantity everyone has an equal chance. I know that I tend to get lazy some days (I had a lot of those days this month) so I need something to movtivate me to do some exercise even on the days I may not have time for my usual routine. We could always do both if some like the current format and others want to try for consistency. I'm looking for input/suggestions.

I believe I am caught up on awarding SparkGoodies for the month of May so far. We have less participants this time, but we didn't lose too many.

For week 1, first place honors go to LOVEMYBOOBUG with 515 minutes. In second place for week 1 was BESCATS with 455 minutes. Third place goes to CANDOIT54 with 400 minutes. Congratulations to the three of you! I think everyone who has decided to participate deserves a congratulations!

For week 2, LOVEMYBOOBUG was in first place again, with 670 minutes. CANDOIT54 was a very close second place with 660 minutes. Rounding out the top 3 was H20-LADY with 538 minutes. Congratulations to the three of you! For everyone who is continuing to post their fitness minutes, give yourselves a pat on the back for sticking to it!

Let's see if some of us can up our totals for week 3. I know I definitely need to!

Keep going. We all get busy this time of year. One of the ways I track my walks is using my Fibit. I wear it all day it tracks my walking. Every step, is a step of exercise is what I say. It's amazing how much it motivates me to get around.
You volunteering to do this is great it's my motivation for the past few months.

I hope everyone has been doing better than me. I have really been slacking so far this month- both at getting in my own fitness minutes and in keeping track of how everyone is doing. I never did look at the totals for week one and now week 2 has ended as well. Please make sure your totals are updated through Saturday the 11th and I will total up both week 1 and week 2 tomorrow evening and award SparkGoodies. Sorry I am behind!

For those who wish to participate, we will again be doing a fitness minutes challenge for the month of May. All you need to do is get off the couch and do some kind of physical activity, then log your minutes here. Just copy the chart below and edit it each time you wish to add more minutes. Please be sure you have entered all your minutes for the previous week (which ends on Saturday) by Monday evening so that I can tally the results and award weekly SparkGoodies.
