Well, well, we are on track. WE feel accountable, we are keeping track of our food intake, excercising and so. I have started the South Beach Diet on October 1, I have been doing great so far, no cravins for pasta, bread, or sweets. My husband recently celebrated his birthday, then a friend brought him a huge cake, it was filled with fruit and I could not help myself. I got less than 1/4" and it tasted sooooo good. Other than that, what I crave is fruit, I love and miss berries and everything else. Today I weighted myself and I am two lbs ligther. I have not excercised though. I will start training couch to 5K. Wish me luck.
Knitting is a good idea while watching tv. Keep going. emoticon emoticon emoticon

For these three days of the new month, I haven't eaten the best but I have stayed close to my calorie range and have sure worked out! Today I am going hiking so I think that's a good end to the week.

I'm excited for the second week of the month.

I've been trying to work on that too, eating when I'm hungry. Because I do the same thing: eat when bored or watching tv and then it's just empty cals I don't enjoy! I have been trying to enjoy food more, as in sitting and savoring each bite. Yeah I get the evening munchies too! That's what REALLY kills me.

Definitely don't beat yourself up! You're doing well- at least you're realizing what you do.

Are you a knitter? I love knitting. I'm working on some cozy house socks right now.

I'm trying to just eat healthy foods and only when I'm hungry. My problem is that I tend to eat when I'm bored or watching TV. So, this week I'm writing down when I eat, what I eat and the situation (hunger, watching TV, upset, etc). Yesterday I did fine until 8 pm, then I just munched all night.

I'm trying not to beat myself up, because that just makes me eat more. I need to find something to do while watching TV. I should get back to knitting. I have a bunch of projects lined up. Maybe I'll start knitting scarves and donating them to the Salvation Army or Goodwill.

Also, I like the goal of huddling!

2lbs a week is a good goal, I am hoping for that too! :)

And I have one more goal - I want to visit the team page each day and huddle. It will be my reminder to be accountable to my other goals.

I've decided to write down what I eat and try to eat only if I'm hungry. I'm also going use these 3 Joyce DVDs - On the Ball, Slow Duet and Quick Quartet each week plus add in some cardio like rebounding or walking.

My goal is to lose 2 pounds a week and fit into my size 16 pants by Christmas.

Ooo, good luck with your goals this month!

I plan to continue with Definition and work my way to Wonder Woman for most muscles.

I also want to be on Week 6 of Couch to 5k.

Alright, who is up for a month of hard work and caring about ourselves?

I think for October it would be neat to focus on caring for ourselves. That means doing something every day. Whether it be a Joyce Vedral workout, cardio, a walk, run, eating healthy, getting more sleep or a bubble bath. . .whatever you have done to show love and care for yourself.

Let's support each other and start out October in an awesome way!
