I'm a nut for healthy foods. I LOVE eating baked potatos, topped with steamed or microwaved broccoli and a little I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Spray (with olive oil, it's got no calories, no fat and tastes YUMMY!)

A friend made me a baked potato envelope, it is cloth, I just wrap the potato in a paper towel, put it in the envelope, and pop it in the microwave for a few minutes, flip it over and nuke it some more. They come out flaky and tasting just like they were baked in an oven (no stabbing it with a fork!)

Then I'll pull those out and heat up some frozen broccoli, I'll put the potato in a bowl and chop it up, Top it with the broccoli, spritz on some butter and dig in! MAN it's good, add a tablespoon of shredded cheese and you've got a real treat, plus it's 15+grams of protein or more depending on the size of the potato, it's LOADED with potassium (today's huge potato brought me 17 grams of protein, over 1700 mg of potassium in the potato alone.)

Rawmama you're right, when those hot days get near by, fruit smoothies are greattttttttt i loveeeeeee itttttt going the natural way is the best for us, no question asked jajaja.!! emoticon

Yoliiiitaaaa of course it helps, i will tripple my portions for the summer, and thanks for eating fruits for me, out of those 2 bananas you ate, one was for me jajaja and same as the rest fruits and veggies, is good for aging jajaja, i love the inner beauty cause it never gets old it don't need no moisturizer, or nothing else, only the word of God, woopiiiiieeeee i like that.!!! emoticon Enjoy the rest of the night girls.!!

This is a really easy challenge for me. I LOVE fruits and veggies! We drink a smoothie every single day in our house. And...to get extra greens in, I usually blend them in with our fruit. I'm sure I go well over the 5 servings per day. And now with summertime coming, it's so much easier to get the good fresh stuff! Plant a garden or a potted tomato and you'll REALLY get fresh food!

I just read that for a healthier aging, it is important to have 5 portions of vegetables and 4 of fruits. I am falling behind. I'd be glad to eat double for you Maritza, I've decided to increase my portions anyway. I hope this will help you. lol

This is an easy challenge, we all eat fruits & vegetables, this challenge is for you to post here everyday your fruits or vegetables eaten.!! We can start with a minimum of 1, some of us don't like eating fruits or vegetables,is ok guys we can try one, fruits & veggies will keep our system clean, also it has less calories, you can lose weight and is a good choice for craving sweets, so let's start eating fruits & vegetables this month of March, we'll detox from those February goodies!!
