As some of you know, I participated in the Spring 2010 5% Challenge. It was AWESOME! I lost 6.19% of my starting weight or 15 pounds in 8 weeks. There is a new challenge beginning on May 9th. If you would like to join this 8 week challenge here is some info.

Go Active This Summer! Join the Summer 2010 5% Weight Loss Challenge. Our challenge theme is to make 2010 the best summer ever. This is the challenge to try new things - food and activities, and make new friends. There will be variety of weekly challenges which may be physical, nutritional or Spark information. It’s intended to be all inclusive so everyone can participate in each challenge. Let’s have some fun and be ready for summer!

I know this challenge isn't for everyone, but if you still have at least 5% of your body weight you want to lose, this is a fun way to do it.I would invite you to join us. If you are interested here is the link to join the Challenge Community Team:

Join the team and then go to the Summer Challenge Sign-Up board.

There are nine teams so far and if you have a preference, let it be known when you sign up. No guarantees, but your preference will be taken into consideration. The current teams are: Butterflies, Cats, Care Bears, Cloverleaf, Daisy, Lady Bug, Rose Petal, Star Fish, and Teddy Bears.


I know this challenge isn't for everyone, but if you still have at least 5% of your body weight you want to lose, this is a fun way to do it. Come and join us and have fun while you learn more about healthy living and lose weight as a bonus!
