Oops! I forgot to post after the weekend! Thank you Rhonda for motivating us to eat more fruit & veggies and to love ourselves!

Something I love about myself: Over the summer my husband, our dog, and I hiked over 40 miles on the Appalachian Trail (in the Pennsylvania region). Even though I consider myself a bit overweight, my body was humming and loved the nature around me. I know we are all more capable than we think and can do amazing things if we try!

My rainbow over the weekend:

Red: Tomato, watermelon, & raspberries
Orange: Carrots
Yellow: Banana & yellow pepper
Green: Arugula, parsley, & avocado
Purple: Blueberries & blackberries

Yay to everyone! Sounds like we all did good!

My rainbow had all the colors except purple too. To answer the question about loving your new muscles, I must be weird too. When the sun hits my car right, I can walk by it in shorts and see my leg muscles perfectly. Sometimes, I walk by it twice just to see them again. I think my hubby feels I am strange or something. But it is nice to see the results of hard work.

Not a strange question and you're not weird unless I'm weird too, LOL. I have to say yes. Besides seeing them, feeling them and watching them work, they've added a lot confidence to my self-esteem. All that hard work has paid off and I'm proud of how I look now. emoticon

Ok, so maybe this is a strange question and I'm just weird, but...

Does anyone feel sexier with their newly developed muscles? I know I feel sexier just walking around, feeling my muscles work to move me, seeing them in mirrors or when I look at myself.

It's a really NICE feeling... emoticon

My rainbow was a "hot" rainbow with green. I got all the "hot" colors (red, orange, yellow) and plenty of green. No blue or purple. Bum.

This weekend I ate:

red - tomato
orange -carrot
yellow - banana
green - salad
purple - onion and blueberries

Thanks Rhonda for the challenge!

I love my arms and shoulders, it was said earlier, muscles are good!

I didn't see this until today (Sunday) so I don't know how I'll do w/ the colors, but I'll really try to get them all in today!

Yesterday I had: blueberries, salsa w/ tomatoes, green grapes, strawberries, lettuce and onion. Guess I'm missing orange and yellow?

I am a very small person. I'm only 5' tall and have a very small bone structure. Part of my motivation for weight loss has been to see just how tiny I am under these rolls. I had lost weight a couple of years ago and was down to 138. I found then the same thing I'm finding now. As I lose weight, I get extremely curvy! I love my body! I just have to keep reminding myself that right now it's hiding. It's there and it's perfect, it's just insulated right now.

I love my feet! They take me just about everywhere i want to go, with only a little complaining....so I try to be extra kind and pamper them...No high heels, Foot soaks and scrubs, nice lotions, a spa pedicure from time to time. I figure if I'm good to them, they'll continue to be good for me.
To top it of, lol....hubby's a bit of a foot guy emoticon

I would have to say, I do love my brain. But my legs are my favorite. I have always loved hiking, jogging, etc., and my legs definitely show off my hard work.

I love my arms and shoulders! My trainer really makes me sweat, but that part of my body is better than I've EVER seen it - even when I was a slender young thing!

WOOHOO - let's hear it for MUSCLES!

Hi Everybody.

Let's do a weekend challenge. First in celebration of "Love my body day", name 1 thing you love/like about your body and second, eat a rainbow of fruit & veggies each day (a rainbow consisting of something red, orange, yellow, green & purple).

Now, post what you love about your body and then come back on Monday and let us know how you did on your rainbow.

Let's go team!! You can do it!!!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
