Check out Sparkrecipes. They have lots of recipes. I'm going to be fixing Baked Beans for my son's graduation to help the meat go further. My mother used to add brown sugar, mustard, ketchup, and even half and half to make them creamier. I'm thinking of making a calico bean recipe I've eaten at potlucks that is good.

My mother used to just open the can, heat and serve. (Usually with hot dogs.)
What kind of beans are these?
Baked beans with molasses? (What my mother used to buy) or something else?
I can't remember the last time I bought a can of "baked beans" although I often buy cans of other kinds of beans such as kidney beans.
