I eat very often - every 2 or 3 hours - so I have a lot of small things in my lunch bag.
Typically I pack: 2 fruits, yogurt (and flax seeds), salad, tuna and 2 servings of Triscuits with some hummus.

For the last few months, I have been making a pot of soup on Sundays then dividing it out into 2 cup gladware to pack in my lunch. I add a yogurt, 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese, some strawberries. I always keep a small thing of peanut butter handy at work if I get into a 'I'm hungry' moment, I just have a small spoon to get me by.

I like to make large vats of soup and use leftovers for lunch. I am particularly enamored of Tuscan White Bean and Spinach soup at the moment. recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detai

I usually take a half sandwich too - pb in pita, etc. and seasonal fruit.

I cooked some pasta and took it to work. Have been adding lettuce, tomato, egg. Have been thinking about salad dressing. Hard in the summer!

This time of year I like soups, but I've yet to find a healthy canned soup that fills me up on one serving. So, I tend to add things to my soup. I'll take a cup of the canned soup and add fresh mushrooms and other veggies. Sometimes I'll even toss in some chunks of grilled chicken or soy crumbles. I'm using the Weight Watcher's framework for my nutrition, so I have to get in two teaspoons of a healthy oil each day. I'll toss in a teaspoon of canola or olive oil which makes the soup richer and more filling.

I'm not much of a traditionalist when it comes to what foods should be eaten for which meal. If I want something sweet for lunch I'll make myself some oatmeal with berries and cinnamon. I keep packets of oatmeal in my desk drawer as a standby.

I've also been known to make a lunch of microwave popcorn, an apple, and some string cheese.

Attitudes are contagious. Is yours worth catching?

I bought a couple of cans of tuna and left them at work. They are good for if I get stuck. There are no crackers or anything with them, but if I remember I can bring some veggies and fruit from home.

If I actually forget my lunch, I will have to go to the store near work and buy some stuff to go with the tuna.

I also enjoy bringing leftovers for lunch. When I don't have any I bring my Starkist Tuna Lunch To go. The pack that has everything in it, crackers too, and I can mix myself. I pack one of those and a piece of fruit or frozen veggie. I also like the Campbells Soup at Hand with some wheat crackers and a freggie.

In the summertime I like to bring salads with a chicken breast or other leftover meat.

Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

What are your favourite things to pack in a bag lunch?

I usually like to bring leftovers, but sometimes there are none.
Then I have to think of something else I can bring. Preferably something simple and quick.

Summertime I like tuna salad.
Now I'm looking for some warm meals. Things I can heat up in the microwave.
