I cooked a turkey, a spiral ham, potato salad, Baked macaroni and cheese, cranberry sauce, dressing, candied yams, collard greens, apple pie and chocolate brownie trifle.
For dinner on Thursday with my children, ex-husband and my friends, I'll be preparing:
Turkey, Gravy, Stuffing, Sweet Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Cloverleaf Rolls, Green Bean Casserole, Scalloped Corn, Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Cheese Tray, Veggie Tray, Water Chestnuts wrapped in Bacon.
On Friday, I'll have dinner with my aunt and her family and it will be along the same lines but with lots more offerings!
Have a great Thanksgiving!
I'm bringing either a pork tenderloin or turkey tenderloin, steamed veggies, and greens. But the main meal, which I don't like, will be turkey, dressing, rice, gravy, mac and cheese, potato salad, cranberries in some manner, a few different veggies cooked using alot of oil/butter.
It's nice to have healthier choices and more enjoyable, even if I'm the only one eating them.
I hope you had a great thanksgiving back in Oct!
Dear Lord, set my sights on You and Your great attributes. Help me to live in Your presence, dependent on Your guidance each day. In Jesus name, Amen.
Each new day is a blessing!
What are you having for Thanksgiving Dinner?
Or what did you have?
Can you remember?
We had turkey - back in October! That is when we celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada.
It seems we had some really good stuffing... can't remember what was in it now. Maybe it will come back to me.
What about you? Any good ideas to share?
