Schroeder8 - I am so glad that this came at the right time. To be honest with you I was having the same problems which is why I started the challenge. I did so well with challenges while losing. It really kept me motivated and on track. So why not when you are trying to maintain too?

Glad to see some who want in on the challenge. I am coming up with a challenge in which we will get points for daily goals and points for weekly goals. It is going to be a six week challenge that will start on Monday July 23 and go until Friday August 31. At the end the person with the most points wins!!

One of the weekly goals is going to be a personal goal. This means that I need everyone who wants in on the challenge to post their personal goal. It can be anything that you want to work on and that is somewhat of a challenge for you. It doesn't have to be food or fitness related. It should be something that at the end of the week you can say you did it or you didn't. (For example: I will run all of my scheduled miles for the week each week as set up by my training for the half marathon.)

So post those personal goals here and tonight I will start a new thread under challenges that explains the challenge. Looking forward to getting to know all of you better during our challenge.

I'm definitely up for a challenge. I feel like I'm starting to lose ground here and could really use something to keep me accountable.

Roloha,

Thanks for the go ahead. I am going to come up with a challenge in which we earn points for certain things and in the end see who earned the most points. I will start the new thread then.

As team leader, I say GO FOR IT! I am up for a challenge myself and it's fine for you to come up with an idea and keep track since at the moment it's all I can do to keep up with normal posts and greeting new members!!! Once you're ready, start a new thread right here under challenges and I will make it a sticky topic so we can all find and report progress and updates?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this team but joined about a week ago and have been lingering.

I have been trying to maintain for a few weeks now and while I have been able to, I think I am having some bounce back syndrome. I was so diligent for the time I was losing weight that now that I am where I want to be I am going a little too overboard with allowing myself the goodies. I found when I was losing the weight the challenges helped sooo much. They kept me focused and on track. So I thought why not a challenge for maintaining.

If anyone is interested I would be happy to come up with something for the challenge. I don't know if I am allowed to or if it has to be the person in charge of this team.

Any challengers???

Karen
