I use Sunday-Saturday average of daily weights. My date ranges reflect the week of weights to average, which is two days earlier than the week of reporting most people are using.

1/5-1/11: 162.1
1/12-1/18: 162.1
1/19-1/25: 161.4
1/26-2/1: 161.5
2/2-2/8: 162.4
2/9-2/15: 163.0

Two slightly heavy weeks in a row. I may have overdone the incremental calories for training, so I tried cutting them back a little this week. We'll see how that goes as we get through the next maintenance challenge.

laurie, you are not REALLY giving up, are you? please don't. you know the routine. you have to keep on showing up and telling the truth. you WILL start trending downward. i have had over three months of gaining weight and making unhealthy choices. i am just now beginning to make skillful choices again. yesterday, i did not one minute of exercise and had a major binge day--all day. today, i was able to turn things around, though nighttime eating is my biggest bane, and it is just now that time of night (half past midnight). let's remember buddha's teaching of impermanence. you will be successful. emoticon

Oops - forgot to log yesterday - can't do that during the actual challenge!

Center Weight: 124
I'm logging a moving weighted average using Physicsdiet.com and the mean weight from hackersdiet.com. Physicsdiet has been behaving badly lately, so I'm trying something new - the hacker's weight is higher because I don't have as many data points there.

12/31-1/6: 126.67
1/7-1/13:: PD=126.55, HD=127.2

1/14-1/20: PD=126.6, HD=127.1 - hovering from lack of exercise due to illness - I'm quite pleased that I'm holding steady, though, even if it's a couple of pounds higher than I like to be.

1/21-1/27: PD=127.01, HD=127.1 - Uh oh - need to track more carefully, and restart my exercise habit. The scale should be moving the other way!

1/28-2/3: PD=126.89, HD=127.1 - creeping down slooooowly. Walked more this weekend, and went to the gym this AM!

2/4-2/10: PD=127.1, HD=127 - the numbers have pretty much converged now.

I use Sunday-Saturday average of daily weights. My date ranges reflect the week of weights to average, which is two days earlier than the week of reporting most people are using.

2/9-2/15:

A week of fluctuations, with the average coming in reasonable. I'm beginning to think that greater daily fluctuations than I've had will be normal while training for a distance run.
