July 14: Sundays (like today) are my official weigh in days. Just to report - maintained goal for a week. First full week at or under goal. Eating? Same mindful, when hungry, reasonable portions as for last few months. Exercise? Near daily walking.

Thanks for sharing this, Bill. He's sure made great progress. I like that he doesn't totally eschew cardio like some lifters do at times. I think cardio and strength training can and should go hand-in-hand, especially if you're going for maximum health benefits but even if you're going for maximum aesthetic benefits. You just need to choose the type you do more wisely.

My name's Tina. I lost more than 90 pounds between March 2010 and March 2012 and have been keeping if off ever since.

Linking to another fitness forum, but I found this person's story inspiring. I like the "lessons learned" type approach. All success stories have failures and I appreciate learning from those.
