I was surprised to get a SparkMail telling me I placed third in this competition; my expectations were such that I never considered whether there would be recognition for anything other than first or staying in the 3% range!

I guess I'm a real maintainer now, LOL.

My weight has actually been all over the place the past few weeks. I have been as low as 134 in the last two weeks, and stayed right around 135-136. Mondays I am usually a little higher because of eating with my in-laws on Sundays. Need to figure out an easy way to do the weekly average for the next challenge!

161.7 average for the week. The weight fluctuated over 2 pounds this week, from 160.4 to 162.4, landing at 161.4 today. I suppose that's kind of normal, but it's a bigger range for a week than I've seen in a while.

My weight fluctuated madly between 61 and 63.5 kg every month,
this is quite new but I'll have to get used to it.

Just posted (early) for this week. It really worked out for me to have 11 weeks instead if 12 because I'm heading out for a sail tomorrow and will be out of computer touch for a week. But I'll be back online in a week and ready to take up the next challenge.

Meanwhile, my personal challenge is to get through this week on the water--and off the SP grid, so to speak--with as little change in my weight as possible. No walking, too cool to swim, and no tracking. Not a good maintenance formula, huh? Fortunately, the people I will be with are aware of my focus on healthy eating and are very supportive.

I am so very fortunate to have them as well as this team to help me maintain good health! Thanks, AG&M+TtM team!


Started at 138, aiming for 125. Got there, and 120 seemed possible. Got THERE, and 118 seemed possible. Got THERE, and 115 seemed possible. And that's where I want to stay. Maintain, maintain, maintain.

It was gratifying to see nearly all of the 5 extra pounds of travel weight go away. My swollen ankles told me it was mostly water. It was also clear yesterday when, after breakfast, 2 cups of coffee, & 4 glasses of water, my weight went down by 1.6 pounds in 4 hours. :-D

I'm going to give myself a couple of days before I record my weekly weight after a long weekend of eating not so well. Although I was still within range this morning, I believe a good bit of the travel weight gain will be water weight. At least, that's what I'm telling myself.

It takes a couple of minutes sometimes for the update to show up, so if you don't see yourself on there immediately, check back in a few minutes. If in doubt you can always log more than once. I'll just keep the later measurement.

Even if you went over or under your range, continue to check in because 1) there will be consolation prizes for staying in the challenge and 2) we will still calculate your average deviation and graph your progress.

These people either missed the deadline or didn't log a weight on the form this week and there's no backup post here, and so dropped from the challenge.
