Hey, Jodi, Welcome!! Right here is a good start. The second topic down on the message board (above) is for introductions. Why don't you tell us a little about yourself and your journey. Congrats on being At Goal and Maintaining!! Again, welcome. -Marsha

Hi I'm new to this team, where do I introduce myself to the team?

2 Timothy 1:6-7(NIV)
For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Love it! I admit, I've gotten so many email notices from my teams about new members, and I just hit delete because my box is sooo full and I don't want to be bothered. Well, what a stinky attitude! I remember when I joined in February how great it felt to have people reply and welcome me. You're absolutely right about how especially important it is in January when people are making resolutions. How many of us have made resolutions on ly to give up for lack of encouragement or motivation? We're all tired and busy, but this is a time of year that we can really make a difference and spread the spark!

I'm joining this goal right now! Rather than respond to email notice system - which I think overwhelms me - I'm going to just check the message boards and team boards each day and respond to just a couple. If everyone does this each day, the spark will spread like the crabgrass on my grandpa's lawn and new years resolutions everywhere will be celebrated, not broken! :-)

THANK YOU for reminding me how important this is!

Thank you very much! I have made it a check-box so it will be easy enough to track.

I would like for us as a team to be greeting more new members at the Introduce Yourself Message Board

www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/messageboard_t
opics.asp?imboard=14

This is especially important during the month of January when so many people try to start a new diet.

I would like to make this a team goal, to greet someone every day - this is as important if not more-so than reading a team members blog daily.

I do hope some of you will join me in this worthy endeavor.

Thanks,
Love,
Linda
