Last day to give your opinion about the next Team Goal.

So far the proposal for Meditation(10min/5days a week) has 6 votes, the 18 Yoga practices 4 votes, and increase of a pose a day/week has 3 votes.

As you say for motivation and inspiration:

I like that idea too, a pose of the day you could incorporate into your practice, or I suppose a sequence, like sun salutation. I know there are poses I love to do, and others I may avoid or need more practice in.

I love the idea of adding a meditation to the challenge. I am all for it.

I also was thinking of something to keep people motivated to practice a bit of yoga daily - maybe it's a bit overzealous - but having like a pose of the day or a few poses for the day that are recommended to incorporate into your practice. For motivation and inspiration. I know that I have a hard time staying with my practice at times. There aren't too many local classes and the ones we do have are beyond my price range. I also have a hard time finding DVDs that I enjoy and can do regularly without being burned out from the repetition.

I also think that they increase in yoga practices a month is a great idea as well.

I like the idea of adding meditation to the goals. This is something I usually do after 30 min of yoga. The body and mind just kind of go together with this.

It is interesting how we choose to meditate and when I always feel ready to sit in meditation after my yoga.

One goal on the Meditation and Mindfulness team is to meditate at least 10 minutes a day. Having this goal has really helped me to meditate daily. Before challenging yoga practices, I try to meditate these days for as long as 1/2 hour (!!) right before the practice. A meditation practice seems to go hand-in-hand with a yoga practice. I cast my vote for adding meditation to our goals.

I like the idea of the increase. I think we have a great core of people who are actively practicing and add three days a month would not overwhelm them.

Patty, there have been several posts lately discussing meditation and several of us are signed up for the July meditation on line course. What about adding 10 min. of meditation 5 times a week?

As a Team we have 3 goals, maybe is time to add a new goal.

What would you like it to be? Let's have some suggestions and the one with more votes will be added at the beginning of July. We have 15 days.
