These days I just enjoy down dog, my calves have been really sore lately, and that really helps.

I love backbends! I'm not an expert in it, but i just love how it opens up the chest and works the shoulder blades. I have a problem with my left shoulder so doing backbends really helps.

Its more than just vanity.
Its not about being slim, its about being healthy.

I adore supta padangusthasana. I dread the standing-up version, but lying down, it's all groovy stretch and none of that pesky balancing! hahaha

It varies from day to day with me, depending on how my body is feeling, whether I'm stiff or sore in any particular region.

At the moment, I've got a pulled muscle in my left shoulder so I'm finding childs pose quite useful for stretching the muscle, also half knot and spinal balance.

Triangles, Half Moons, Warriors, Prayer Twists. Negative on shoulder stand (you can get whiplash on that). Headstand (bad for the spine and blood vessels in your eyes)

I LOOOOVE pigeon. I'm usually very tight in my hips so it really helps. I also love dancer -- I used to dance, coincidence? -- and triangle. And spinal twists, too.

child's pose -- Love the stretch esp. in my ankles/tops of my feet and my shoulders. It's so calming for me.

Usually Downward facing dog. I also like twisting poses, tree for balance, and Cobblers pose.

Poses that I need to work on include pigeon, and I'd really like to master crow and headstands! (or even be able to do them!)

It depends on the mood. Happy baby feels great when I need to unwind, hand-to-big-toe makes me feel cool (though I can only accomplish this on one side). Side plank, and headstand.

My favorite thing lately, is how much I can do now. I started teaching this summer (RYT in '07) and have grown so strong through being accountable for my students!

Ok, I feel uncreative....but I love inversted poses. Headstand, shoulder stand, legs up the wall, etc.

I like upside down poses too! I can't do a headstand yet but so far I like any pose where my head and my feet are both on the groud!
