As I was looking for ideas for this weeks challenge, I came across a contest that BodyBuilding.com hosted. Here was the question posted to contestants:
With all the video games, television, computers, etc., its no surprise children are becoming overweight and inactive. It is important to educate younger children about the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle. What is the best workout for children? Be specific. How can you motivate children to workout?
For this weeks challenge, we will use this question as our guideline.
- Visit http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/wotw22.htm and choose one of the winning workouts to try with your children this week. There are several to choose from, including some that are a little more advanced for children who are already very active. List which workout you plan to follow and earn 250 pts. - Each day that your kids do the workout, you will earn 100 pts. - For each day that you participate in the workout with your children, earn 50 pts. - Bonus: Answer the final part of the question for yourself. How can you motivate children to workout? Answering this question here will earn you 150 pts.
