For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

I just joined the team challenge, so I'm a bit late with this challenge! I am VERY excited about the challenge and so are my 3 children! Thank you for planning it!

Week 2 – Family Meals

It has been proven that kids who eat regularly with their families are less likely to snack on unhealthy foods and more likely to eat fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Teens who take part in regular family meals are less likely to smoke, drink alcohol, or use drugs, and are more likely to have healthier diets as adults.

For Week 2, we will focus on sharing done meal a day as a family.
* Create a Plan - Many times busy schedules get in the way of having meals as a family. In attempt to achieve this goal, start by planning. Sit down and determine what the best way for your family to eat as a family is. Does it mean changing dinner time each night, having to give up something in exchange, or other obstacles. Earn 100 pts for figuring out how best to suit your family’s needs and still be able to eat as a family.
1. Preparation in key in family meals. Involve your children in this process as much as possible. Earn 50 pts for allowing your children to help prepare for dinner, whether it’s setting the table, assisting with the grocery shopping for the week, or actually helping to cook.
2. Everyone should wait to eat until the entire family is seated at the table. Earn 25 points for accomplishing this task, which can be easier said than done with young children.
3. Many families have dinner together on a regular basis but do so while watching television, listening to the radio, or intercepting phone calls. Earn 50 points if you turn off all electronic devices for the meal you are sharing as a family.

* Create a plan – 100 (I have lunch and dinner ready for the next week depended on what was on sale at the grocery store this week for the kids and I. Hubby's schedule is not consistent. Having stuffed red peppers with brown rice tonight. Yum! Kids are helping cut veggies for it!)
