We’ve all heard it – “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!” According to kidshealth.org, kids who eat breakfast tend to eat healthier overall and are more likely to participate in physical activities – two great ways to maintain a healthy weight.

A balanced breakfast includes some carbohydrates, protein, and fiber. Good sources of these nutrients include:

I might for this week give dd her breakfast before she goes to school. She usually gets breakfast at school and because of snow days she is there until 10th June.
