Welcome to the Kids’ Health Spring Challenge! We will have various goals to strive for each week and will track our progress on the appropriate thread. To keep things simple, rather than posting a new reply each day, I ask that you simply edit your original post. You may update daily, every few days, or at the end of the week. Do whatever works best for you and your schedule. I will post the challenge for the upcoming week on Fridays and we will start the challenge will run Sunday thru Saturday.

There will be two parts to the challenge. The first part will be geared toward you and your personal health. The second part will help you get your family involved. The reason we are focusing primarily on our own health is because we lead by example. If we are leading active and healthy lifestyles, our children are more inclined to do the same.

Check back on Friday to see what our Week 1 Challenge will be. In the meantime, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to let me know or post your questions on the Spring Challenge Information thread of the Team Challenges Forum.

Also, I started a new thread for weekly weigh-ins. There is no contest attached to weigh-ins at this time. There is also no specific day each week for weigh-ins… choose a day of the week that is best for you and weigh-in weekly. This will help you monitor your progress but will also hold you accountable since you’re putting it out there for the rest of us to see.

Good luck to everyone and keep on moving in the right direction. Those of us who have joined this team have done so because we have the same goals – to get ourselves healthy and to become more aware of our children’s health as well. Together we can and will do this!!!
