Great idea!!! We already read 3-5 books a night but I really like the jumping jack challenge (and the making the bed part!)
We bought the Disney Dance Dance Revolution for the PS3 and the kids have a lot of fun trying to do it. I tried it for about 15 minutes and I was out of breath. It even has a workout mode. I really want to get the Wii. I saw that Jillian Michaels (the trainier from The Biggest Loser) is coming out with a game for it. Maybe for Christmas.....

I am going to take these challenges and incorporate it in the the preschool day with my students. I can add the jumping jacks at music and movement..and maybe trying a fruit/veggie at meal times with a velcro board and their names (liked it/tried it). Keeping it positive.
We do have a little green guy who is a healthy eating/exercise model. Choosy. Great music, etc.
Thanks for the ideas!
