I have seriously fallen off the wagon. Picking myself up and hoping to be back on track before weeks end. I have a job interview tomorrow. Getting back to work will help tremendously.

No kidding? We were at the zoo too from 9:30 - 12. I hope you were able to stay cool. It was crazy hot.

I did 45 minutes at the zoo yesterday. Would have been longer but my grandson wouldn't stop whining. I think he got up to early.

We went swimming yesterday and today. Yesterday was 3 hours in the pool I will count 1 hour as cardio. Today was 1 hour in the pool and I will count 30 minutes because we played hard.

I've been slacking on the cardio, but staying with my commitment for strength training.

Sun 8/2 45 min bike ride, 37 min strength train
Mon 8/3 5 hours swimming with the kids, counting 1 hour of actual workout. (I have a 3, 6, and8 year old).
Tues 8/4 36 min strength train.

I usually don't strength train, but I started this new commitment to do it. So, now I need to get more cardio in.

Keep up the good work, and go to Curves!

I'm in. So far today, I took my kids for a bike ride in Garvin's. I was at the end with my 3 yr old, so it was slow moving, but it was 45 min of bike riding at it's best.

Sounds great! I'll be doing at least 150 min per week (this is doing cardio 3x/week). I'm participating in the YMCA Team 13 Half Marathon training as a runner so I know what the training schedule will be! Will we report our minutes each week?
