I totally agree w/ everlastinghope on this one. All i ever wanted was to get married, have babies and garden lol Was not Gods plan i suppose I have one son and few plants lol I am grateful I can get a good education, job etc but I am happy with what that and only b/c I have to have it to support myself and my son.
I had one dream throughout my teen years. I wanted to get married young, have a family, and be a stay-at-home mom and devoted wife. That's all I ever wanted, and it's still a part of what I want. However, that was obviously not a part of God's plan for me. Thus, I decided to make use of my single years instead of just waiting around for a man. So I am an independent college student...definitely a switch from where I thought I'd be in life by now!
That said, I will say that I don't consider myself a feminist, and don't agree with most of the aspects of feminism. So, I guess I sort of believe feminism has progressed more than far enough. And I know that statement may cause some controversy...
What do you think about the feminist movement in our society?
"Insanity" is doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results.
