We went to Sauvie's Island today and instead of going to the BIG pumpkin patch with all the mazes and stuff, headed down the road a little further to a smaller one with tons of pumpkins that wasn't overly crowded, but still fun. There's a few of them on Sauvie's Island.
The leaves have turned yellow and begun to fall, we're digging out the sweaters and wool socks, and an orange mountain of pumpkins has appeared, as though by magic, out front of the local Shopway store.
Sure, you could grab a pumpkin on your way to the bread aisle, or you could make a day of it, and create some great memories at the same time.
