Yes, I'm starting them in small pots and a few every two weeks. Now would be the time to start for zone 5 I think - about 2 weeks behind me. This week will be my second batch. They are red and green leaf lettuce.
Once the danger of frost is past, I'll transplant these to the garden and then so directly in the garden every two weeks. I mentioned to her two rows cut into four sections and rotating two weeks - harvest and replant. She said that's correct.
